Ruby Tuesday Ft Myers Fl Stooped by on a Saturday afternoon around 4:15pm. This place was clean, neatly organized and not that full. Our server Skyle was friendly and helped a lot with the menu. My wife and I ordered the Honey Glazy Salmon Bowl which consisted of Honey Glazed Salmon, Rice, Carrots, Corn, Sunflower Seeds, Dried Cranberries with Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing. We both added the Salad bar for an extra 5.99. Our friend just got the endless trips Salad Bar for 12.99. Plenty to choose from at the Salad Bar and you can go back as many times as you want. Our Salamon Bowl was very good the Salman was done perfect and the rest of the bowl including the Balsamic Vinaigrette was very good. This with the Salad bar was a perfect pairing and plenty of food to fill you up. Skyle our server was on the ball and treated us great. I give this place 5 out of 5 stars. The good: Salad bar and cheesecake, though the strawberries on the cheesecake were frozen, I happen to like those. The bad: Most frustrating is that the suggested tips at the bottom were wrong. For 20%, the dollar amount shown was almost 25%. For 18%, the suggestion was actually 21% and for 15 it was 19%. On top of that, we were charged for a premium Valentine/couples meal when we ordered a regular couples meal and only ordered what was on that selection. After arguing with us, the server went and subtracted $10, but I noticed that each entree had $1 added. It's only $2, but by now I was frustrated by the shenanigans. I asked for the $2 to be removed and still tipped well, though not the inflated, dishonest suggestions. We had to ask for more water. My baked potato was brought out dry. I had to ask for butter.The place is old. Torn upholstery, dust, stained carpet, dated light fixtures that are dirty. If not for the financial creativity I wouldn't have bothered to leave a review, but people need to know they're being cheated and watch their bill. Photos of receipts attached. Ruby Tuesday's = Salad Bar! After another Doctor's appointment we passed the Ruby Tuesdays in Fort Meyers. It's been a long time since we visited one, since the ones near us closed during the pandemic. There are 50 choices on the salad bar. I just got it alone. Dave had the mushroom cheese smash burger and it was only $5.99 to add on the salad bar. It was during the middle of the afternoon and not too crowded. I'm a sucker for salad bars. "I wish there was a Ruby Tuesday here," I said to my husband, never expecting there to be one. Surprise! While this place is okay, it didn't measure up to the Ruby Tuesdays I've gone to in Georgia and elsewhere. There were items on the salad bar that didn't seem fresh. And while it had a lot of 'stuff' it didn't have everything I remembered. On the plus side, T's hamburger was juicy and the tater tots good and crispy. read more

Went to this location today, 01/19/23, at about 6pm. Had the $5.99 smash burger and salad special. The salad bar was good. Filled my tummy up well, but the smash burger was awful. Only one small dried out beef patty. Nothing like the photo. Very disappointing! read more

Stopped in for lunch. Much to our delight there is a 7.99 salad bar and add a cup of soup or a loaded baked potato for only $2. Staff were very friendly and gave great service. They kept the salad bar filled and clean. Was nice and quiet even though there were lots of people there. I will say that it's in much need of updating. Our seats had duct tape on them they were so worn. The restrooms were seemingly clean, however both smelled horrible and in need of some sort of repair. Ruby Tuesdays has been my go to chain restaurant for awhile. I recently moved to the Fort Myers area and found this cozy little bar inside the restaurant. Nate the bartender, I haven't met any others yet, goes the extra mile. It appears the bartenders are in charge of to go orders. I watched Nate stop and check each order before the customer left. Most of the time it's great. Took my neighbors for dinner and hamburgers were frozen Pattie's. We asked if it was fresh It's not.

First of all the restaurant is hot, 75 degrees +. The food came out below subpar, asked for condiments and they gave us half of the cup full sauce. They got our drinks and orders wrong twice and the salad bar is nasty, hot salad and everything else. Just to include the bathrooms stink and there is flies everywhere, there was also debris inside of the drink - 3/10. read more

Food order was correct and tasted great. Chawn was our waitress and we've had her before. She welcomed us back and did an outstanding job. She checked in on us to see if we needed anything and was attentive watching if we needed drink refills. It's the little things like that that makes service over the top. So we go and sit in the bar. They have ONE employee who is making drinks, taking orders, getting takeouts , serving , answering the phone for the bar area. He was phenomenal. And of course some customers are being super demanding on how their drinks are prepared and oh I don't like what's on the TV in the bar. I was quite amazed by this employee, he didn't lose his composure and handled things like a pro. Didn't get his name but he had long brown hair pulled back , in his twenties. Salad bar was fresh and good , wings were great too. And if the employee working in the bar wasn't super human this could have been disastrous. He is an asset and as a first time visitor to your restaurant, he really impressed me by not getting flustered by waiting on all 16 people like it was nothing . read more

I was in Fort Myers on business and stopped in to grab lunch before heading home. I thought we could not go wrong with Ruby Tuesday as it is a chain and they have quality standards. It is right across from a large apartment building so I would think... I concede that Fort Myers has not fully recovered from the last hurricane so perhaps ..... The problem, and I cannot get it out of my head, is the floor is absolutely awful. We were seated and had ordered drinks when I went to check out the salad bar. To my surprise my shoes stuck to the carpet every time I stepped. Once I was off the carpet onto regular tile my shoes slipped each step. When back on the carpet they stuck again. I am not sure what this "phenomenon" is but in my mind the door is closed and I will never go there again. I mentioned it to my coworker when we exited and she said "I thought it was just me". Do better, Ruby, do better ! As a chain you should be able to bring in someone to fix the floor situation easily even if local labor is not available. read more

I am sad to report Ruby Tuesday's in Ft Myers has really faltered since my last visit. I can't get past the dirty, gross carpet or the filthy garbage can sitting by the first booths. Much maintenance is needed on wood work and counters. There were 3 light bulbs out one of which was over a dining table. Doesn't any staff see this? If it's like this in the front of the house can you imagine the back? Service was pleasant even though the young man lacked training. We ordered the garden bar and a New Orleans Seafood. The meal took over 30 minutes. The server did come to our table to apologize for the delay explaining that the cook was new. Once it arrived it was cold! Like the fish was not even warm in the middle. Unfortunately we sent it back and asked for the check. I hope someone acknowledges the entire restaurant needs sone repairs and a ceiling to floor cleaning. read more

It seemed to me to be pretty odd that my hubby and I were the only guests at the we arrived. My day had just flown by no wonder...it was 8:30pm. So we are on vacation in Fort Meyers, Florida. Our family is a party of 7. We love Ruby Tuesdays at home in NC. However tonight, we were told that a table for a party of 7 would be AT LEAST an hour. So my son asked "what about if we split up?" The hostess said "Well it's still gonna be at least 30 minutes"..... ‍ She said "We only have 2 servers". The restaurant was basically empty. So we left. Just so I let you know, we actually own a restaurant in NC, so we are using sympathetic to a situation. So this is actually the first time I've ever given a bad review. I made it to this Ruby Tuesday about 20 minutes before closing after a flight to Fort Myers. I had only ever been to one R.T., and that was twenty years ago. Ironically, I realized, it was this same one. The food, smash burger and fries, was very good--juicy burger grilled as ordered and perfectly cooked fries. Service was amiable and efficient. However, my drink, a martini, was absolutely the worst I've ever had--like a watery snow cone; the idiot had shaken it until it was past recognition as gin and vermouth. Super Bowl Sunday. The place was dead at 6:40pm. Drinks were okay. The food was horrible. I was with 2 other friends. The shrimp fondue tasted spoiled, the chips with the fondue were stale, they brought out crackers, but the taste of the shrimp fondue just wasn't right. They took that off our bill. Which was nice.
