We were greeted promptly and told the lunch special of the day was creamed chicken over a biscuit with corn. We both decided that sounded great. It came with either a side salad or cottage cheese. We both chose the salad. Microgreens with tomatoes and croutons. Very nice! The creamed chicken was actually on 3 fluffy homemade wheat biscuits, with large kernel sweet corn and filled the plate! We ate more than we usually do and still took a large portion home. We had the leftovers for supper the next day. Yum! The bill was under $20 for the 2 of us. We plan to stop here again when we're in the area.

The cook came out of the back to chat about drinks. Both staff members were very friendly! There was no beer on tap and lost bottles are local or your basic Wisconsin beer choices.
