I had always wanted to stop here if we had had time turned into, why didn't I keep on going! On entering the store, I was told by the owner that everything was discounted today. He said, "Oh no, not these things". I looked at the item, and I didn't want to pay the large amount. He said, ""Well, I could take $100" that's a pretty good discount from $275! She never asked if it worked and was not told it was in working condition. Items like this tin toy were never intended to last a lifetime and she obviously never watched the show American Pickers. Otherwise she would have known what as is means on a 65 year old toy. She changed her mind several days after the purchase when all sales are final at the time of sale. She was two hours drive away at this time. She decided to keep it. If I had a way to recoup the damage and disservice she inflicted on me and my store, I would. She did tell me that she put batteries in it and it worked for a while but quit. That means it was working when she received it. 99.9999% of my customers are very satisfied and they come from all over the world as far away as New Zealand. Come to my store to see for yourself.
