Wow! The customer service at this place and their work are both outstanding. I called just at their opening hour to place a seriously last minute birthday order and they were able to deliver on the same day! The gentlemen I spoke to on the phone was great and listened to what I wanted and then was able to guide me through their website on some great choices. My mom sent me a picture when she received them and called me, she was blown away by how beautiful they were. The flowers were truly gorgeous & honestly an arrangement I have never seen before. We used Rubrum's for our wedding and we couldn't be happier. The prices were great, the flowers were beautiful, and Frank and the team were incredibly easy to work with. Rubrum's came recommended from a few people within my wife's family who had used or known people who had used them, and after meeting with another florist closer to our reception hall and coming away both confused and disappointed - both in terms of what they could (or couldn't) do and what it would cost for what we could get - my wife and I decided to stop into Rubrum's. My wife was very sure and specific about the style, size, and content of our centerpieces and the other flowers she wanted, but as quickly as she told Frank what she wanted, he said "no problem" and showed us some photos that almost exactly matched what she had just described - and then priced it out at about half of what the previous florist would have charged for much less. We even added on more flowers late because we had added a bridesmaid and groomsman to the wedding party, but that was no problem at all! Come our wedding day, the centerpieces were beautiful (and exactly as we had envisioned), as were the bouquets, individual flowers, and church/reception hall flowers. Two thumbs up! read more

Contacted this florist for an out of town wake and funeral. Had never used them before but they did a beautiful job. We chose the arrangement from the web site and I don't believe I have ever had such an accurate recreation of a web image in real life. We saw the display when we stopped to pay our condolences and were very impressed. I don't know that the occasion would arise that I would need a florist again in this location but if I do I would certainly contact them. read more

Beware the woman I encountered here was a total bigot. I was looking for a florist for my brother's wedding two years ago. He is a physician who was temporarily overseas at the time and had asked for my help. The encounter has haunted me ever since and I feel compelled to share. I had initially called Rubrum one evening to make an appointment thinking that I would like to give local businesses a chance before turning to other commercial florists that handle larger events. At the time the woman on the phone was extremely polite and seemed to want to help so I was looking forward to the appointment. Keep in mind I have an American accent since I was raised here my entire life. When I arrived for my appointment I was not greeted in anyway. In fact I felt that the woman, her name escapes me now, was trying to avoid an encounter with me and hiding. When I found her towards the back of the store I was sure she was avoiding me since the monitor from the video feeds was right next to her. Needless to say I was completely shocked that the same bubbly and kind woman on the phone the evening before was this rude and unkind person standing before me. She didn't even say hi or even fake a smile and looked like she wanted to be somewhere else. I thought lets give her a chance, maybe she is having a bad day, but while discussing flowers she asked me, more than once, why my brother was overseas. Everything about her attitude and body language indicated this woman did not like me. I generally try to give people the benefit of the doubt but after asking questions about why my brother was overseas and what our heritage was I was sure she had a problem with me. My 7 year old daughter was with me and she even declined to offer her a candy out of the dish, obviously meant for customers, when my daughter asked. I spent last two years thinking about this encounter and hoping that I was mistaken but every time I drive past this store I feel disturbed. I will never ever do business with the florist and have encouraged all of my family and friends to also avoid. If you are a person who could be construed as "ethnic" beware.
