I ordered a plant and flower arrangement and asked for the arrangement to be a larger size. Frank explained it wouldn't look the same but made this arrangement larger and exactly as pictured! The delivery was on the date requested and the recipient was very pleased with both arrangements. read more

We had the most wonderful experience working with Bri on my nieces wedding. My niece had a very particular style of floral arrangements and flowers that she envisioned. On the wedding day Bri brought all those ideas to life. The flowers were stunning. Through the entire planning process we felt absolutely taken care of. Bri responded quickly to calls and emails and was an absolute delight to work with. You can absolutely see that she loves what she does and cares about her clients. We HIGHLY recommend her. read more

As a veteran floral designer (with over 20yrs experience), I found myself in need of a bouquet while out of town. I stopped in and was very impressed by the section of local made greeting cards, gifts and quality of flowers. I would definitely go back again and I would also recommend to anyone in that area for their floral needs! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Brianne and Rubrums! Brianne made my bridal-floral dreams come true all within my tight budget. Wow! The customer service at this place and their work are both outstanding. I called just at their opening hour to place a seriously last minute birthday order and they were able to deliver on the same day! The gentlemen I spoke to on the phone was great and listened to what I wanted and then was able to guide me through their website on some great choices. My mom sent me a picture when she received them and called me, she was blown away by how beautiful they were. The flowers were truly gorgeous & honestly an arrangement I have never seen before. The flower choices, greenery and colors were stunning. I know my mom will enjoy looking at them every day for as long as they last! It is so different and elegant, it really made me look good ;-) This is definitely my new go-to for northern Westchester flower arrangements! read more

A good local florist that delivers to your parents is worth its weight in gold. The first time I used Rubrum's Florist, I called them about 5 minutes before closing, needing flowers delivered the next day. They saved me! Since then, I order the Florist's Choice bouquet, which always looks different, and has the freshest flowers. Thank you! read more

We used Rubrum's for our wedding and we couldn't be happier. The prices were great, the flowers were beautiful, and Frank and the team were incredibly easy to work with. Rubrum's came recommended from a few people within my wife's family who had used or known people who had used them, and after meeting with another florist closer to our reception hall and coming away both confused and disappointed - both in terms of what they could (or couldn't) do and what it would cost for what we could get - my wife and I decided to stop into Rubrum's. My wife was very sure and specific about the style, size, and content of our centerpieces and the other flowers she wanted, but as quickly as she told Frank what she wanted, he said "no problem" and showed us some photos that almost exactly matched what she had just described - and then priced it out at about half of what the previous florist would have charged for much less. We even added on more flowers late because we had added a bridesmaid and groomsman to the wedding party, but that was no problem at all! Come our wedding day, the centerpieces were beautiful (and exactly as we had envisioned), as were the bouquets, individual flowers, and church/reception hall flowers. Two thumbs up! read more

As a first time customer not familiar with the area, we had a wonderful experience with Rubrums. From the ordering process to delivery. At one point we were unsure if our order had been delivered and Gloria went above and beyond to make sure it was taken care of. The arrangements were gorgeous and we greatly appreciated her amazing customer experience. read more

Contacted this florist for an out of town wake and funeral. Had never used them before but they did a beautiful job. We chose the arrangement from the web site and I don't believe I have ever had such an accurate recreation of a web image in real life. We saw the display when we stopped to pay our condolences and were very impressed. I don't know that the occasion would arise that I would need a florist again in this location but if I do I would certainly contact them. read more

I live in Los Angeles and always order flowers for my mother in Ossining from Rubrums. They do a wonderful job.

I needed centerpieces for a brunch the morning after my son's wedding. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so my expectations were modest. I couldn't believe my eyes when I entered the room. The flowers were stunning. The tables were set up to seat 10 so I was afraid the centerpieces would look too small but they were just the perfect size. I could not recommend Rubrums more highly! read more

This is a very special and spectacular florist. I had my first Rhubrum's experience today and will be back time and again. I wanted to send flowers to my dear friend and Brianne, the floral designer, created the most beautiful and artistic composition of cut florals I have ever seen. Better than Winston's and McArdle's. The old school touches and sense of color, texture, warmth and beauty are missing in 99% of florists today. Rhubrum's is the real deal I am so impressed. Thank you for bringing back the old school!! read more

Beware the woman I encountered here was a total bigot. I was looking for a florist for my brother's wedding two years ago. He is a physician who was temporarily overseas at the time and had asked for my help. The encounter has haunted me ever since and I feel compelled to share. I had initially called Rubrum one evening to make an appointment thinking that I would like to give local businesses a chance before turning to other commercial florists that handle larger events. At the time the woman on the phone was extremely polite and seemed to want to help so I was looking forward to the appointment. Keep in mind I have an American accent since I was raised here my entire life. When I arrived for my appointment I was not greeted in anyway. In fact I felt that the woman, her name escapes me now, was trying to avoid an encounter with me and hiding. When I found her towards the back of the store I was sure she was avoiding me since the monitor from the video feeds was right next to her. Needless to say I was completely shocked that the same bubbly and kind woman on the phone the evening before was this rude and unkind person standing before me. She didn't even say hi or even fake a smile and looked like she wanted to be somewhere else. I thought lets give her a chance, maybe she is having a bad day, but while discussing flowers she asked me, more than once, why my brother was overseas. Everything about her attitude and body language indicated this woman did not like me. I generally try to give people the benefit of the doubt but after asking questions about why my brother was overseas and what our heritage was I was sure she had a problem with me. My 7 year old daughter was with me and she even declined to offer her a candy out of the dish, obviously meant for customers, when my daughter asked. I spent last two years thinking about this encounter and hoping that I was mistaken but every time I drive past this store I feel disturbed. I will never ever do business with the florist and have encouraged all of my family and friends to also avoid. If you are a person who could be construed as "ethnic" beware. You will not be treated well! read more

Best Florist around!!!! Frank is an amazing person! I have ordered many times and have always gotten the best arrangements...

Last week I ordered a bouquet of flowers to be delivered to a family member for her birthday. Despite the distance as I was ordering from California I received excellent customer service on the phone. Most importantly the flowers were so beautiful, arranged so nicely that my family member teared up at their arrival. Great products, good service... two thumbs up. read more
