I do not recommend this company for any of their services. The Xtra charge was $125 more than the agreed price. What a rip off. I had no choice at the time to pay it because I had a state inspector on site to complete my inspection. Adrian does not have good communication skills to the customer. UPDATE: 9/16/2026…read more Wow!! I already wrote one glowing review, but I just have to write a second. Nehemia is just EXTRAORDINARY! Yes, he is way out the ordinary and a fantastic person to call for any and all septic needs. It is SO UNUSUAL for businesspeople to actually answer their phones nowadays, but this is the 2nd time Nehemia came to our rescue. He probably saved us $2000 in plumber fees by just flicking a switch for us. Thank you SO MUCH for your efficiency, knowledge, and--most especially--for your kindness. 10 stars!! Earlier Review, from March 2026 Our usual septic guy went AWOL and we were DESPERATE to get our holding tanks pumped. When we reached out to Nehemia it was in the middle of the business day and he was already committed to another job so he couldn't come over the same day. He offered us the very next day, if we could wait, and if we couldn't wait, he recommended the name of another septic company. I really appreciate him caring enough about what we needed to offer another company. Anyhow, we decided to wait for him and we are really glad we did. We have a great new septic guy! He showed up when he said he would and did the job in a speedy and efficient manner. We have 4 holding tanks, so that was a lot of work for one day, but he got it done. Very glad to have discovered this company!

However, they bailed on their agreement at the last minute in favor of easier jobs. Roads are clear and dry; conditions haven't changed since the agreement, just the company's priorities. This was just before winter started, making it difficult to find a backup, so they left us high and (not so) dry. Additional details: They bailed on the job and REFUSED to reschedule to ANY new date or time, despite our pleading. Our appointment was well after an early winter storm. Any evidence of the storm was well gone by the time our appointment rolled around. Nonetheless, the company disingenuously used that storm as an excuse to reshuffle their commitments. We ended up finding somebody else who performed the job safely and professionally the following week.

Best service EVER!! East Mountain Homefield Septic is the most professional team I have ever worked…read morewith here in New Mexico. The administrative staff - Lorena and Lisa were kind, efficient, personable and did a marvelous job of quickly setting up my septic inspection for my home sale. They followed up with updates and confirmations that everything would be taken care of with no extra work from me, and no return visits to do the job partially on different dates. When the excavating and inspection crew got here, I was just as surprised and thrilled to meet Adam the inspector, Malik and Seth who did a stellar job. They came prepared with all the correct equipment and the ability to put in risers (same day). They had to excavate several feet deep to find the tank, then they cleaned it, inspected it, installed the riser and covered it all up with absolute efficiency. They were the best people to work with, I would refer anyone and everyone I know to use them for their septic company. Thanks to all over at Homefield (formerly known as Canon Septic).
