I have visited dozens of Roman ruins, and this sight has the largest collection of restored mosaic floors in situ I have seen. The sea shore setting is lovely, and the contrast between the Greek and Roman ruins is striking. There is a major restoration of a massive villa in process, a good section of city wall, a large forum, and a good audio guide to explain it all. The museum is small but well done. Plenty of parking is available, so it is definitely worth the side trip. read more
