My treadmill had been sitting for well over a year, i had given up hope on ever getting it fixed because i had no resolve with the company. I found Chris online, we spoke for nearly an hour about my machine and when we were done he said, "I know what's wrong with your treadmill"...I was impressed but skeptical. He is a treadmill god..before he left he educated us on properly using the machine, keeping it lubricated and making sure its turned off during a storm to protect it from a surge. Highly recommend A++++ Chris is not only an honest, nice person but very experienced and knowledgeable with treadmill repairs. My Horizon GS1035T treadmill turned on but the belt would not move. A component on the control board blew because I did not lube the belt (I learned my lesson). He came to my house in Cherry Hill, diagnosed the problem, found a repair shop on Ebay that fixed the board ($79 @ "circuitboardrepair"). He installed the repaired board, lubed the belt and tested everything for very reasonable price. I don't want to quote his price but it was half of what other places charge just to come out and diagnose the problem without any guarantee they would fix it. He also gave me tips on how to properly lube the belt and when to know your belt needs to be replaced. THANK YOU, CHRIS, You da man!!!! read more

Unfortunately, I spent the better part of 3 hours trying to unfold my treadmill before I decided to give RTE a call. My treadmill had been in the upright/folded position for about 4 months because I recently had surgery on my foot. I'm finally cleared to start running again and I'm super excited to reunite with my favorite machine ... but it's stuck. I read the user manual, I tried getting a friend with super human strength -- everything that I could think of. I see on RTE's website that they offer a free telephone diagnostic, but mentally prepare myself and my wallet to shell out $125 to have someone come out to fix my baby. To my surprise, the guy (Chris) was super helpful and patient and walked me through the different things that could be causing my machine to stick. He tells me that if it's still stuck in a couple of hours, that he'll swing by my apartment and let it down for a nominal fee. After we hang up I am able to get my treadmill to unfold within 5 mins. This girl couldn't be happier! When the time comes for me to start having my treadmill serviced for a "real" problem - I know exactly who to call. What a gem! read more
