We didn't deviate much from the offerings provided in the facility or menu options and she threw in several decor things to give the room a special touch. Since this was a more reserved crowd and close family we weren't looking for a bunch of bells and whistles. I dropped in to view the site the day before and it was beautiful, no alterations required. Now let's talk about execution, the appetizers and meal were delicious. However, the staff seemed put out if we asked for anything such as more water, more lemonade etc. We were told we didn't pay for extra lemonade. I mention this area because it can be addressed in the planning process. Get every potential deviation or turn from the norm addressed so you don't have to ask on that day. This was an informal gathering of close family, but the reaction would be different if it were a wedding. In closing, the venue and setting is lovely, the staff professional and I would recommend them to host your next event.

Parked in parking garage for $7, parked on top level so that we could use the enclosed crosswalk to the convention center being it was very windy and coldest day to date this year lol And just a side note but yes my daughters team won and won a all paid bid to the U.S. Finals in Kansas City, Mo!! Encore is my go to for event rentals in Shreveport! Tracie and her team are always very…read moreaccommodating to my requests, multiple emails, etc, and nothing but patient when asking questions. I can't believe they didn't have a Yelp page until now! If you need something that is not listed on the website, email them! I was able to get several things (plain white plates, a bar top table attachment, white poly napkins, etc.) just by simply asking. I did an engagement party last weekend and used encore for the majority of my rentals and it turned out beautiful! Even though I still consider this a 5 star business, I do have a few complaints: first, if you rent their Chiavari chairs at $7/each that does not include a cushion. If you want to add a cushion it's $4 extra/chair. That's $11/chair which is unheard of. I rent furniture for events pretty frequently and I've never paid more than $8.50/chair for a Chiavari chair with pad. It's sad because you know those chair pads are just sitting in their warehouse unused when they could be renting them for an extra $1-$1.50 and making a profit. Especially if they are the ones that tie. We needed to add a couple of tables to our order last minute and they charged me $30 for a "rental change fee" or something like that. I know it was last minute but I was giving them additional business and I had to pay extra for it? The first time I ever used Encore was last year when I was in a jam and I called the day of looking for round tables, linens, and chairs. They accommodated that order and it was picked up 2 hours later without an additional $30 charge so I don't understand why this order was any different. Lastly, the damage waiver. Most rental companies make the damage waiver optional. When I inquired about this at Encore they never responded. If I was renting expensive equipment like an a/c machine I would absolutely want this included. For tables, chairs, plates, glasses, cutlery, etc. I don't think it's necessary and it drives up the price of your event. With all of that said, they are still my preferred vendor in Shreveport. Their selection is incredible and they make hosting a nice event a breeze. They are flexible and want to work with you. Give Tracie a call for your next event, you won't regret it.

She also responds well to my emails even after I made a reservation. Also, my baby went to NICU but she was able to work with us after discharge. Her instructions are clear and specific before the session. The studio was neat, well ventilated and had a really comfy couch! Haha. It's conducive for sleeping while baby is having her session. Lol! Snacks and drinks are available while we wait. Jaci works with newborns so well! I love her craft and I highly recommend her services.
