Neat place. The sound wasn't very good and the chairs weren't comfortable for a two hour showing.

Logan Mansion - Old peeling tub

Logan Mansion

I found this gem on Airbnb when I was looking for a place to stay in my hometown. I wanted to give…read moremy boyfriend a unique and authentic Louisiana experience. The Logan Mansion was perfect and exceeded my expectations. The intricate and antique decor transport you to another world. Every piece of furniture is either vintage or an antique giving the mansion a vibe that is both historic and spooky.Joseph the inn keeper is fun, thoughtful, and attentive. An added bonus of the lux master suite is the completely stocked, complimentary mini fridge which include savory snacks, mini bottles of champagne, white wine, water and beer. We also loved the huge rain shower, and claw foot soaking tub. A soak in the tub brought me back to life after I partied a little too hard at Margaritaville. The spacious suite includes a beautiful Moroccan chandelier, a tv we didn't utilize, a dresser, ironing board and a large chest with a porcelain doll. Read that again, I'm serious. I don't know if I'll be back to Shreveport in the near future but if you find yourself there please stay at the Logan Mansion. Establishments like the Logan Mansion are treasures and would benefit from your patronage.

She never mentioned that there was a train track and it blew its horn every hour. Although she knew we had a baby with us. None of us slept. The worst part of it all was her condescending manner. They ran out of drinking water and I asked for more they only had two small bottles left. The staff said she had to go out to get more. It was 10pm so told her that's ok. Then asked to have more in the morning. They still didn't have it in morning so I said that's ok and left. Lisa later that they left me a long message saying how she traveled the world and always knew what she needed. That it was my fault for not knowing. She then continued to say that her staff went above and beyond. I told her above and beyond is already having water and getting more of it before telling someone that they don't have it. I've never stayed in a place where they ran out of water. Also it was way dirtier and worn then the photos. Lisa has much room to improve as a host

Perfect stay. Check…read morein was pleasant and easy. We grabbed our stuff and they took the car key for valet from the front desk. Lobby is beautiful and fun. Bar is nice and folks were actually using it, which was great. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. Loved the staff. When we checked out they'd already brought our car around. Our room was on the second floor and was very pretty. We loved the decor, made us feel fancy at as standard rate. Bed was amazing, room temp was perfect, and there was plenty of hot water--so all my must-haves were checked off. Because the building is historic there are oddities. We see them as a feature. We had a window that opened to the lobby below. Hallway art is amazing. Each room named for an artist. Love that. The location is great for walking to downtown restaurants and clubs. Not a huge nightlife, but there's plenty of good restaurants and bars walkable to the hotel. It's a little far to walk to the casinos at night, but an easy Uber/Lift. This is the only place I will stay going forward when I make the annual trek to Shreveport.

When we asked for directions to the event, the bartender rudely dismissed us to the elevators. One of the service staff at the event rudely dismissed my request. Really! These simple requests should have been answered politely. It is the staff's job. I was polite when I asked my questions. If you don't like your job and people get a new job. Don't drag a nice place down. Everything and everyone working in a hotel should be focused on hospitality. That's your product!

Came here for the reception of a wedding I went to. The food was served buffet style with little meat sandwiches, chicken strips, fried catfish, fruit salad, caesar salad, stuffed potatoes, green beans, and crawfish cakes. the plates they provided were TINY about the size of my hand spread out. It wasn't very kid friendly. The chicken strips were spicy and my BF's niece and nephew ended up only eating fruit and salad. They also served this pink drink that just tasted like peach flavored water. The service was great, the waiters were very attentive and kept the buffet fully stocked and cleared out tables constantly. Overall this place was 100x better than the dinner we had a Giuseppe's the night before. The area is somewhat small. the main room only sat 50ish people? and the rest of the guests had to sit in the separate room. I sat in the main room with the wedding party but my BF's family missed out on a lot of the reception because they were eating in the other room.
