People sing praises to Duct Tape without having ever experienced true product. The crap that is now sold as Duct Tape is a cheap knockoff. Duct Tape is what Heating and AC Guys would use on Ducting, the utility tape that is sold under this moniker now is a far cry from the original. Gaffer Tape, however, is unchanged from its true original form. Easily torn in pieces but strong enough to stay together. Fiber reinforced tape, simple enough but exceptionally useful stuff. If you are heading to places unknown and need to survive. Gaffer Tape could save your life. Emergency shelter or impromptu clothing.
