Beautiful parklands for walking complete with duck-filled pond and grand specimen trees, bridle path and playing fields. The house itself is well worth a gander and displays a number of artifacts of local and historical importance.
The Gaudi collection of paintings depicting various scenes from Robert Burns epic Tam O'Shanter poem adorn many walls. They are juxtaposed nicely with the modern urban art which livens up the walls in the basement of Rozelle House.
The adjoining MacLaurin Gallery houses an ever changing display of art and today's exhibition didn't disappoint. Well worth a visit as part of the Robert Burns Heritage trail, Rozelle Park is located on the edge of Alloway village a five minute easy stroll from Burns Cottage and a fifteen minute walk from Robert Burns Birthplace Museum.
