Horrible service. They told me 20 minutes to pickup, I called to see whats up at the 25-minute mark, and he says a couple more minutes. Finally at the 40 minute mark I called them and said forget it. I decided to walk the couple miles in the rain rather than give these scum any money. Bad people, bad service, dishonest and stupid. read more

Be careful using this service. An accident occurred at my neighbors house on 1/09/2019. Driver travelled on the wrong side of the road and vehicle had extremely bald tires and traveled at an unsafe speed and hit my neighbor's house. The sheriff and fire department were onsite. When the sheriff questioned the driver about the blatantly obvious defective equipment she had been operating, she said she made the owner aware of the poor condition of the tires and he insisted she operate the vehicle anyway. Mr Fornier needs a lesson in customer service, civility and courtesy. He lacks all three. He parked in a No Parking zone, leaving no room for me to get my groceries in to my car that was LEGALLY parked in a handicap spot. I indeed yelled because he was backing into my cart...so much for the warning I gave him. He actually blamed me, insulted me and dared me to call in a complaint. I wasn't going to but his attitude caused me to call...and who answered Roy. Blaming me again and now calling me a Karen. Well Roy...there were 3 witnesses to your behavior...one gave me your name. Steer clear of these crooks. We requested a taxi to pick us up at Rutland Airport to Mountain Top Inn. Chris (I believe that was his name) said it was $20 just for him to come out plus $40 to drive us there; $60 dollars total. What kind of taxi charges just to show up especially when they're homebase is Rutland? An uber was only charges $26 for this trip. And guess what, "no pick up charge". This guy also expected a tip at the end on top of the $20+ he likely pocketed for his "pick up charge". If you're looking for a ride, definitely wait for an uber to become available. I hate to wish I'll upon any business but these price gougers days are numbered. read more

Called for a ride on superbowl sunday. They never showed up despite multiple calls. Lame

I rarely need the assistance of a taxi service so perhaps my experience is not the norm. I had worked all night, and as it was winter, it snowed and I couldn't get my car out of the lot at work. So I called Roy's taxi knowing that a professional would have me home in no time. Boy was I wrong. In fact calling Roy's taxi was the worst mistake that I have made in a very long time. I called at 6:30 and they said they'd be at my office by 7:00. At 7:20 I decided I would call and see if perhaps they couldn't find it. They assured me that the driver would be arriving soon. By the time 7:45 rolled around I was a little upset but still able to give them the benefit of the doubt because of the snow. A woman in a taxi finally arrived at 7:55 and I felt relief wash over me like a wave of joy rarely felt by human beings. I reached for the handle to open the door and it was locked. She looked back as if to say "come on pal, we ain't got all day" I said " its locked! " and she said " it's not locked, it's just stuck, pull harder"! It wouldn't budge so I went to the other side and got in. I said " why didn't you tell me to walk around like I did"? She just shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know". Looking at me like she was now doing me a huge favor, she asked me what address I wanted to go to. I gave her my address and her response was something I never thought I'd hear from a cab driver, " that's clear crosst town from these here parts, I ain't got nuff gas to git thar" I don't know why I gave that Vermont cabbie a southern accent but I did. Anyway, I told her that all I wanted to do at this point was go home so I could go to sleep. I said " look, I'll throw in $10 for gas but I won't pay for the ride" which she replied " what!!? Do you know what Roy does if you don't get money for a fare? Let me tell you, you ALWAYS have to get the money for the fare." I don't know what Roy does, but he makes sure he gets his money. The cabbie pimp of Rutland I suppose. She finally wore me out and we agreed with a price that believe me was a bit lopsided, but I just wanted to go home! I didn't notice when I'd first gotten in how sticky the seat was that I was sitting on. I started to observe my immediate surroundings and couldn't help but notice the cigarette buts in the ashtray were overflowing, there was what looked like to be vomit on the floor and ants crawling about the filthy backrest I was leaning against. The next thing I know is; my driver lights up a cigarette, makes a phone call and for the next ten minutes I have to listen to her tell her sister about how "Roy doesn't run a very good business" and how " he doesn't respect the locals and their children"... She just goes on and on and on. Meanwhile I'm just getting sickened by the stench of the taxi. We stopped to get gas and while there, I tried to wipe off the years of blacktar nastiness I had to sit in with a wet wipe they offer. My driver seemed amused at my efforts to improve their business but neither helped or offered support. Off we went in the slightly cleaner and by now lovingly nicknamed, "vomit mobile". We came upon a school bus in which special needs children were being loaded aboard. Since we'd spent the better part of the morning together, I figured I'd start to converse with her while we were stopped and no sooner as the thought crossed my mind, she started honking her horn like a real professional jersey cabbie. "C'mon!! Let's go !! Git moovin' !!! She yelled. HONK! HONK! HONK! Then some large scary looking guy comes out from the bus looking like he's gonna bash both our heads in and said " hey! I've got a special needs child that took a little more time today to get buckled up. You know,...to make sure he's safe"!!! Then he gave us this stink eye that I will never forget. I see it in my sleep to this day. Anyway, she mumbled a few words under her breath and we drove off. I guess the moral of the story is... If you take Roy's taxi, it will probably show up late, the driver might be rude, the taxi will have a chance of being dirty and if that big scary guy sees Roy's taxi around town and you happen to be in it, you will receive the worst stink eye you've ever seen. read more

Not sure what the previous review is about, but I just left a conference at the college and this cab co was prompt and friendly. It gave me more confidence when I received a courtesy call an hour before they were to come get me. I'll be calling them again when I come back through next year. Thanks M! read more

Friendly service with great vehicles, timely arrival, and easy delivery. They were nice enough to let us hang out in their vehicle for a while until the train station opened. Will absolutely use these guys again. read more

Cheap service but prices vary every time you go to the same place. Cars sometimes are a show and sometimes a no show. had to call around 3 times before I got the car I ordered sometimes. read more
