I wanted the weight and length taken out of side, mouth and nose trimmed out, and everything else just cleaned up. I got was a careless "piece of shit" trim. He left the check/jowls uneven, did an amazingly obvious job screwing up neck beard (not trimmed, and nothing resembling an even line, and didn't clean up my overgrowth on cheeks at all. He was either malicious or incompetent. Either way, I can only urge you to go somewhere else.... Anywhere.... I don't understand how he has a five star rating. Must be his family... I watched a customer ahead of me leave unhappy. My gut was saying I should leave, but I thought I'd give it a go.... Always listen to your gut...

I'm in Peoria for a day and I need to make myself presentable and have never let anyone touch my beard in the 4 years I've been growing it. Well that's not true one time I let someone touch it and that is why nobody ever touched it since then. But Mr Ray met me in the Hall yesterday as I was coming by to check out the place, for those of you like me you know the feel of the place is as important as just about anything else. There is no way to fully explain the absolute pleasure it was to have my beard trimmed and my edges trimmed by such an incredible artist of hair!! My hair grows in a certain way that makes it hard for most barbers to cut my hair in the way that I like. Metropole does not have that problem, (especially Kelly.)
