I'm not old but I think they are trying to pray on the elderly whose faculties may not work as well, so they won't catch the scam. I went here last month and there was a product that was 2 for $8.99 but not 4 for $17.98, according to the first customer service associate. The one next to them said that I would need to buy 6 to get the sale again and they seemed to have a disagreement on that statement. I just returned it, don't have time to figure out which associate is correct. Just today they have a cereal brand for $1.99, marked in the aisle but I paid $3.99. My friend had a semi-emergency and their checkout froze for a good 5 minutes, so I couldn't stop or go back yet. I checked the website, none of the cereal brand is listed for $1.99 Why is it marked differently in the aisle? Went a couple of months ago, got a product only to find out the "buy 1 get 1 free" was good once, not buy 2 get 2 free. Sure, whatever. It's not marked anywhere on the aisle or the website, but because it's marked in their sales flyer that way, I had to just return it without getting the deal. The prices were reasonable and their set-up and break-down crews were punctual and efficient. The tent was absolutely beautiful and the tables, chairs and bar were sturdy. The bar wasn't much to look at, but was served its purpose very well. We used 2 40-light gold chandeliers (on dimmers, as they can get very bright) to light our 40' x 80' tent and they cast a gorgeous glow throughout the entire reception. The staff were wonderful at narrowing down the perfect floor plan for the tent, including a perfectly sized dance floor and plenty of space for natural movement within the tent. I do not recommend the catering company that they often work with (Faulkner's Catering), which I have reviewed separately. I went through the caterer for my linens, but in hindsight, I would go through Crown Party Rental for my linens as well as the tent and furniture. In short, I recommend this company highly and encourage anyone hosting an outdoor event to contact them for an estimate. Note: this company has since changed its name to Crown Party Rental and is now located at 3300 Lapeer Rd, Port Huron, MI 48060.
