As shown in the photos, our favorites we would highly recommend are both the Chopan Salat and Mantoe for the appetizer, the Lunkho dish (if you like lamb this is one of the best lamb dishes I've ever had) for the entree, and the traditional Afghan milk pudding for dessert. Not pictured, but their house made lemonade is also fantastic and it made sparkling with mint (not too sweet). I initially found this restaurant on yelp and its high reviews and photos of the food caught my eye - I knew my father and I had to try it. We both cook and travel a lot (my father has been to 70 countries) and it was hands down one of the best meals my father and I have ever had anywhere. I did not take photos of the restaurant but the decor was absolutely beautiful as well as the traditional flute music they played at a perfect volume. The staff and the chef himself were all very kind and informative throughout the dining experience and went above and beyond to accommodate us. I will say come to this place with all your appetite because you will not be able to take your leftovers to go. The chef made an exception for us once and gave us one of their china plates with foil on top to allow us to take our leftovers to go since we did not know about the rule. Luckily we are staying close by and were able to return the plate because we wanted to return the above and beyond hospitality - the chef originally even told us to keep the plate!
