We've been using West End Lane cars for a few years, and they're our go-to minicab company. We've…read morealways found them reliable. We've also found them child- friendly. They seem to have an ample stock of car seats and booster seats and they're always patient with our slow-moving toddler load-in process. Minor complaints: although the cars are always comfortable and clean, they're usually a little old on the older side; and if you book in advance, they often turn up 5 to 10 minutes before the agreed-upon time. Obviously a minicab being too punctual isn't the worse complaint in the world.

Nor have I ever experienced the chilling feeling that I might be being driven by a psychotic murderer-a not unfamiliar sensation in London mini-cabs. At very little extra charge they will pick up furniture in their large estate cars from anywhere in London-infinitely cheaper than a man with a van. You usually only have to wait a few seconds for them to pick up-please dont all use them-they are fabulous as they are!

The price they gave me from NW2 to Stansted £80 (!!!!!!!!!) without any discount or apologise for missing my coach because of them. Called up another cab company and charged me £55. Absolutely disgusting, horrible and super rude people !
