Kapri responded quickly, answered all of my questions, and offered exactly the type of professional headshot session I was looking for at a very fair price. During the session, Kapri was friendly, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable. She guided me through every pose and expression, which was especially helpful since I had never had professional business headshots taken before. I never felt rushed, and she took numerous photos with a variety of poses to ensure there were plenty of great options to choose from. Less than 24 hours later, I received an online proof gallery with clear instructions for selecting my favorite images. The selection process was simple and convenient. I was super stressed because the only day all kids were home from college & adults were available was Thanksgiving & Black Friday. Big order, I know. So, we were contacted by several excellent experts but none were available for the limited availability we had until Whitemoose Photography reached out and they had a photographer named Kapri who was available to come on Black Friday. There was an additional charge for coming on a holiday/Black Friday which I gladly paid and was so excited to finally get some good pictures of everyone together. The shoot was fun and Kapri brought a good energy and fit in well with all of us. Prior to Kapri coming I asked if she had a green screen or something to create different backgrounds for the senior pictures. She did not have a green screen but she brought a white sheet as a backdrop and said so she would bring a white backdrop so she could insert different backgrounds for the pictures and insert some fun backgrounds to our daughter's photos. We booked her Senior Pictures for the same day with Kapri. I asked before she left fter the shoot when we could see the pictures and was surprised to find out we needed to wait 14 days. Just to see the proofs. I let her know we would be traveling Dec 12-24 so if we could get them before the trip it would be something fun we could look at on the plane. Kapri sent a text 3 days before the promised delivery date asking if I had had time to review the pictures. Her email messages she sent never came through to my email or an alternate gmail account address I gave her. Thank goodness for the Yelp app because it allows you to send & receive messages as well as links to the pictures. When we finally got to see the pictures disappointment was the consensus of everyone that was in the pictures that saw them. I contacted Kapri and let her know that with her awesome energy and how much fun we had during the photo shoot we were all disappointed and surprised with the final product. Also all the senior pictures had a white background instead of different city scapes like we discussed and no filters were applied to any pictures. I don't know a lot about photography but I have several retired friends that are hobbyists. I asked for the digital pictures so I could send them to our friends so they could "fix" the lighting or angle or whatever was wrong with the pictures. So Kapri & I went around and around because I couldn't tell her what I didn't like about the pictures. Finally as a last ditch effort I sent her some fun family pj photos from a Google search I liked. After Kapri saw my vision her true talents came through! Using AI she was able to turn a sterile unflattering family picture into a warm holiday fun photo with all of our loved ones together! (The ages of everyone ranged from 18 to 84). Kapri said she forgot about adding the background for senior pictures and when she was done with those they were "fire" according to the younger members of our group photo and our daughter loved being able to take pictures at home instead of booking senior photos through the school photographer. I learned It's super important to communicate the spirit or inspiration of the photos. (The cap and gown photo never happened irl). Kapri was able to CREATE the cap & gown photo using other photos she took & a picture of the color of the cap & gown! I'm still gobsmacked by what a difference AI makes!

I am not the type to leave a review, but she has done me and my family completely wrong. Regardless of what she charged me. She should have taken the professional approach when she calls herself a "PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER" A little about Allison's work. I hired Allison to take pictures of my boyfriend's family. His ( my boyfriend's) sister had recently passed away and I wanted to capture some special pictures and crop his sister into the picture. The pictures were taken and she stated that her daughter accidentally deleted them. I was disappointed by that, only because it was such an inconvenience, and it was so hard to get everyone together. I didn't say anything to her, I told her I completely understood - after all it was an accident. His family had to go back out and do retake. She did not take nearly enough pictures like she had the first time. It was hot out, the middle of the summer. So, of course a man wearing a long sleeve will sweat out in Texas weather. She had to fix the picture that Adrian ( my boyfriend) was sweating in. Allison told me she had to send the picture to New York to have it worked on. I always wondered why New York?! There a millions of companies in Texas that can do that for her local. When Allison took the first set of pictures she told me herself that I could have them printed anywhere, to try Walmart. I left it at that. I had not had them printed them at that time, since I was still waiting on the picture of Adrian's sister to be corrected. ( the one Adrian was sweating in) So, a few weeks go by, I thought why not hire her to take pictures of my family. It had been over 30 years since we had taken pictures. She then tells me, that I can have the pictures printed with her at some ridiculous price. It was like $20 plus dollars a picture. But- why would I have them printed with her, since she told me with my boyfriends family that I could have them printed anywhere, including Walmart, right. I figured it's all the same pictures, I'll just have them printed online- well that didn't work. I tried at Walmart this time since she did tell me that. Well the pictures were so blurry. I couldn't make them out. She stated she sent the same pictures I had TRIED to have printed at Walmart. So- I said since yours came out good at Walmart send all the pictures to Walmart FOR ME, and I'll pick them up there and pay for them, but she didn't want to. Let me tell you this has been going on for days already, so I started to get upset. It would have been so much easier for her to send them for me. I was eager to hang the pictures in my house. Well everything fell through. She knew I was upset. She called me a liar, she thought I was lying about the quality of the picture ( why would I lie? What would I gain from that?) She was on Facebook two separate times and is crying ( talk about unprofessional) she is crying and saying stuff about me. Never says my name- but I know she was speaking about me. So I confronted her live... She deletes the post.. Why??? She knew she was wrong!!! Her pictures are way over priced!!! I found someone who is way cheaper and pretty much comes out to equal for pictures and the setting fee. And wayyyy better quality and they can be printed online. For those of you who say she is good photographer... Pfff... I completely disagree with you. Just like she bashed me on Facebook.. She is a LIAR and she stole my money and would not refund me or send my pictures to Walmart like I asked her.. Since she suggest that place. Don't trust or use her.
