Jenn runs a tight-ship and by that I mean an environment that is organized, productive, creative and fun for the kids. She has taken the care of children to a level I have never seen before. I've notice so much improvement in speech, creativity and imagination. I love that the bigger kids interact with the younger kids. I have never heard any of them say "You're a baby, you can't play with us". As a matter of fact the bigger kids will help and teach the younger kids how to do certain activities. After 15 sessions I took an exam where I had +6 on my verbal and +3 on my quant score. MJ's strength is definitely in teaching you how to take the specific test and understand what strategies to utilize. This combination of doing heavy practice problem sets, reviewing with her, and picking up question tips along the way was exactly what I needed.

As you sit in the pew, you will see the large Divine Mercy print next to the altar--right next to the tabernacle, prominently placed at the center. Our Lady of Guadalupe is on the other side of the altar. It is calming. I noticed there were no paper hymnals in the back of the pews. Instead there was a QR code designed to connect each person to a worship document online. Also, the words to prayers and music are displayed discreetly on monitors. So, each person can follow in the way that is most comfortable. The Pastor, Father Casey, has a gentle-giant, wise brother, teddy bear quality. He seems approachable, yet is deeply aware of how important both tradition and scripture are. He is both old school and modern Catholic at the same time. He is able to connect the congregation to today's relevance of Bible text written centuries before. I felt at home during my first Mass here.
