This place has a pretty cold vibe. There isn't the bar scene here that I'd like in a small town (like you can find over at Sheldon Arms). The beer selection is a little on the weak side as well - there are only 4 craft beers. We tried two of them and both were pretty unpleasant. We settled for the lesser of the two evils, and finished our half of a pint and hit the road. I did not try any of the food, though it looked like traditional English fare. The bartender was a nice young lady and was happy to provide our beer samples. They got a bit busier as the night wore on - we got there at 6pm, and there were only a few people in there. When we left about an hour later, the place had filled up a bit. So there was a better vibe in there as the night wore on. Overall okay place to stop for a little, but not a place that I'd go out of my way to visit. read more
