I moved to Truro with my company and I was referred to Royal Lepage to guide me on my housing search. I had the delight of working with two of their agents, Carolyn McNeil and Georgie Peppard. All sorts of hilarity ensued. I was stressed out, new to the area and stepping into a new role. Georgie and Carolyn kept me on the straight and narrow... And constantly laughing. They genuinely know this market and are not afraid to say "listen, based on what your needs and budget are, this is NOT the house for you." They saved me from jumping too quickly on a couple of properties I would have regretted. Your mind plays the antagonist when all you want to do is have the house search over with. In the end I got exactly the property meant for me. Straight shooters, trustworthy with tons if references if you need them, and experts in both realty and this market. I'd say you're in good hands with either of these gals. I'd stake my own reputation on either of these professionals. I wish I could give them both 10 stars!!! read more
