Why 5 stars? Because house-cleaning day is my favorite day…read more --- --- --- I can't believe I actually pulled the trigger, but I hired a house cleaner. Working from home means I'm here all the time, and having pets around doesn't help things either. About a month ago, I scrubbed my house top to bottom, and it took several hours over two days. It always hangs over my head and stresses me out, but it's a part of life, right? I always assumed house cleaners were extremely expensive, and only for people of a much higher pay grade than myself. But after some advice to check out Thumbtack, I found Debbie, who offers a really affordable service. Once Debbie has come by a few hours, my house looks brand new again. It might only take the dog 30 minutes to mess everything up again, but at least I get a taste of the clean bliss :) I'd highly recommend Debbie for anyone that's looking in to it. Give her a shout!

I did call at 1:48pm to let the office know there was no one here yet, and I have an appointment at 4pm that I need to leave here at 3:45pm for. I was told they would be there in a few minutes, and with two maids they could clean quickly. Not happy... and will not use these people again. Unreliable! But still get charged full 2 hour price for my two bedroom townhome, even though I do not let them clean on e bedroom at all.

At 2:30 PM, I sent a text message because I understand that sometimes unexpected situations come up. By 3:00 PM, I called simply hoping for an update or estimated arrival time. It is now 4:30 PM, and I still have not received any communication. I am hoping this was an isolated situation, because the lack of communication is extremely unprofessional. As shown, I was originally quoted $301 through Thumbtack, although during our phone conversation I was told it would likely be around $200, with the understanding that the price could change. Honestly, I was surprised by the lower quote, as I was expecting to pay closer to $400-$500 for a deep cleaning. I specifically arranged this service because I have company coming this weekend and was relying on the additional help due to a medical condition that makes standing and bending for long periods difficult. Thankfully, my home is generally maintained, so this was intended to be a more detailed cleaning rather than an emergency situation. At this point, I am very disappointed with the experience and will be letting others know not to rely on this company for scheduled services.

Unfortunately I was in treatment at Moffitt during much of this time and did not have the energy to seek another company. As stated, it was adequate. It was a large home and many times they did not have to touch many of the rooms. Upon our move out, when the home was empty three people were sent to a "deep cleaning". The fee was 550.00. Upon inspecting the home after being told they were done I was beyond disappointed. I contacted Cerise to share my displeasure. The windowsills were dirty as well as the two windows even had some mold on the ledges. The fronts of the cabinets were not cleaned and the floors still had areas of s pots. When I contacted Cerise she stated that they only remove dust. That is clearly not what most would believe represents "deep clean". Cerise was not willing to budge. Never utilize the move out service if you are expecting a deep clean. I will now have to have another company do this service over. I paid her full fee because I am honorable. It is sad that honor was not reciprocated.
