The staff was friendly, they did a great job of entertaining and showing off the homes and basic tour details. The boat was also nice and clean and well kept. My only qualm was that the included drinks were very low class. The sodas were local grocery brand, kinda something you should pay for a name brand? They had bush & miller beer and white wine. But still not a soda that I would want to bother drinking.

The orientation was a touch over the top (I have rented boats on the intracoastal before) but that was ok. My issue came with the end of the trip. He used my camera to take a pic of the prop and when I came back it was as shiny as when I left. Over the top, the other boat rental places don't do that. Also, I had paid around $329 for the trip and opted for the $65 collision waiver and when I returned stupid me wasn't aware of the $25 EXTRA charge for gas, another thing other places DON'T DO. After that Patrick had the audacity to inform me that the world of boat rentals is VERY competitive and he would appreciate a tip. A fishing charter guy? Sure. They work hard. A guy doing a boat orientation and pulling it in? Give me a break. I will NEVER go back to this place AND I am not Mr. I Live To Screw Over Businesses as you can tell by my using yelp for a long time and NEVER writing a review.

A few years ago, we sailed on this ship to the Southern Caribbean islands of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao. In 2025, we sailed on this ship to Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. We have been on many cruises with Celebrity, so I unfortunately forgot our other cruise locations for this ship. We usually get a veranda room, which has a balcony. Our rooms have always been in very good condition and been cleaned well by our hard-working and friendly attendants. Other classes of rooms include larger suites, ocean-view window rooms, and interior rooms. We nearly always skip the main dining rooms, and we instead eat either at the Oceanview Cafe buffet, Mast Grill, or the paid restaurants Tuscan Grille, Murano, Le Petit Chef at Qsine, and Sushi on Five. Other resturants include Blu for Aqua Class guests and Luminae for Retreat guests. Some bars and lounges are available. We really like the flavors of the foods and drinks. Sometimes I use the spa for massages, the fitness center, the theater for shows, the shops for shopping, the hot-glass studio, and the outdoor movie screen. We have not used the medical center, art gallery, photos, swimming pools, and basketball court. Of course, one of the best parts of cruising is the shore excursions, and Celebrity Equinox offers a decent variety of them.

We boarded from the Port Everglades Terminal. Boarding was seamless and quick. Although we needed to show passports at initial Boarding, we just needed our Cruise ID card for the rest of the trip. We had two Veranda State rooms which were a good size each for two. Balcony with a view was nice. Enjoyed the amenities with a comprehensive fitness room with sauna (steam room available at a cost and part of a Spa offer). Spa offer-Swedish massage was enjoyed by one in our party. A good variety of entertainment which we enjoyed-Comedian, Singer Impressionist, Musicals, Pianist to name a few. If you see a show, singer etc. you want to see, best to attend early as they might not be performing for the entire cruise. A couple of pools and plenty of Hot Tubs throughout although no water parks. This is more of an adult ship. Food overall was excellent. We stuck with the main dining rooms and had the 3 course dinner most of the evenings. Overall, great selection with Prime Rib, Lobster Tail, etc. although the last evening was a disappointment from a selection perspective. (They usually go all out) For the itinerary, we liked that we had two days in Aruba (which was a first). That said, we had 5 days at sea and 4 Port days. Would have been good to have one more Port day-maybe a stop in Jamaica? The daily activities video updates from the Cruise Director and Manager were a nice touch. They take service seriously and we had a great experience from Housekeeping to Dining, Spa and Bar areas. We had so much fun! The staff was incredible. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Roberto who took care of our room and helped us was so kind and attentive and quick to help. Faith who often worked the ice cream station in the buffet area was sooo sweet. Her Smile and energy lights up the whole room. She was very friendly and personable. Antonia who I met on the pool deck as she was mopping Was very kind and a hard worker. I started Conversation with her and It was great getting to know her. Tamia who worked in the spa was very lovely. When she saw me, her face lit up and she pointed to her gap in her teeth and from then on we connected. I also have a gap in my two front teeth and so she was connecting with me on that and it just felt very wholesome. I truly loved getting to see each of these individuals every day. There were other staff members that were absolutely incredible as well, and I was just unable to catch their names and make good conversation with them. these individuals for sure deserve a raise. They worked so hard and really just made the experience so amazing. Everything was so smooth. I was kind of concerned about figure out where to go for our excursion one day and there was just no reason for me to worry at all because they just helped with every detail. They put a card in our room that told us exactly what to do and it was so smooth. The food was also absolutely delicious. They blew me away with the buffet. I did not know exactly what to expect but there were so many was almost overwhelming. There's lots to choose from! The shows that we got to go to, like the comedian, the magician and the and show. They were all really good and everyone was so talented. there really was so much to do on the ship! So many shops and things to look at. The views were incredible. I also really morning stretch class on the top deck. It was so refreshing so cool to be on a boat doing a fitness class and looking out and seeing the ocean. Bimini was cool I've been a few times before so I just went into town to grab a couple of drinks and grab a few souvenirs. Now this was my first Celebrity Cruise and I would say I would give them another try especially for a solo cruise. This cruise line is more of a chill vibe with several things to do during the day and night up until a point. After about 11pm not much is going on so if you looking for a full on "party ship" might not be up your alley. I was on a solo group cruise for 5 days/4 nights which I wish were at least another day. I had a great time, but will definitely try another boat and longer cruise so I will do more than I did. As 4-days is such a short amount of time. This is a great start for reflection and I would not be cheap and go ahead and get the premium drink package (if you a drinker) and at least try 2 at the minimum speciality restaurants because it is well worth it. I got the unlimited speciality package so I tried 4 of the restaurants and was not disappointed! Sometimes you have to splurge on yourself and I'm so glad I did on my first Celebrity cruise.

We went back home from this station a few days later. It was easy to get in and through security. We headed to the premium lounge - there was one other person there. I tried to get some wine from the spigot and I could not figure it out. Luckily- the one person there had done it before. He showed me how to have to select the wine on the electronic part to turn on the spigot, and then you can pour. The Orlando station has wine but doesn't have that electronic control board. So that was confusing but I was happy for the assistance from a random person. Thank you random person! I tried two of their wines and made myself a little dinner plate. They had meatballs in marinara and a chicken Alfredo fettuccini dish in the hot part. The cold part had a charcuterie board with rolled up meats and sliced cheeses. They also had hummus with pita and garlic bread. There was an attendant that came through to check the stock and replenish things. They brought a brand new meat and cheese plate while we were there. They're not checking very closely though because there was a long piece of hair tangled around the utensil for the fettuccini. Pretty gross but also that's what you get when it's an unattended buffet. There was plenty of seating and each chair had a port to charge your devices. We were comfortable as we waited for our train to arrive. They have non alcoholic drinks as well as coffee and teas.

Each visit, we've opted to take the Brightline from FtL into Miami. The train is economical, fast, efficient and clean. You can purchase tickets at the customer service desk or online. The station in FtL is small in comparison to the large expansive station downtown Miami. The Miami location has multiple eateries and plenty of seating. Trains operate on an every hour basis. I used the option to keep from driving into the city and paying for parking.

We did a 7 night Alaskan cruise on Quantum during July…read more Overall it was a fantastic experience. Although this is my 7th cruise (6th with Royal Caribbean), it was our first Alaskan cruise. We booked a balcony room and ended up loving it. We spent a lot of time on their and saw so many whales! The room was spacious, comfortable, and made to clean twice a day everyday. Our stateroom attendant was on top of it. Oh, if you do not book a balcony room they have virtual balcony rooms. Quantum of the Sea is a smart ship that allows about 5000 people on it. There are 16 decks. Although it is not biggest of Royal Caribbean it is not shy from it. I've been on Oasis and it's like Oasis class ships but without park central. It was perfect for an Alaskan cruise. We played laser tag, did bumper cars, and indoor sky diving by iFly. We even did their North Star which is the tallest viewing deck on a cruise ship that is 360 degrees. It moves up to 300 feet above sea level. They also had their popular rock climbing wall and Flow Rider that they had on most of the RC ships. I like that most activities can be made via the app so we knew which days we were doing what. We had late dining and that was perfect. I like they posted the menu on the app so we can plan out what we were eating. Our servers were awesome and remember our needs and wants. Some of the food was a little bland but some were surprisingly good and better than expected. The windjammer's food was good on some days. They had pork belly there one day that was to die for. We did one specialty dining which was Wonderland. It was the best experience and a foodies dream. The only issues we had was internet but it was expected for an Alaskan cruise. Also, we had an issue with on-board credit but it was taken care of. And their organization for bumper cars when the lines got long was a little chaotic. The itinerary we went on took us to 4 different stops. Getting in and out and easy and quick. Checking into the ship on the first day in Seattle was also very easy. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely like to be back on it.

However, this was our first cruise in the northern pacific, and the seas were angry. For a ship this big to rock and roll like it did was amazing. A day spent seasick, but once we got used to it, we were back in the game. Icy point straight is a blast, the little towns were fun, and the 70's dance party was a hoot.
