Both of my children have been attending Mountain View Christian Schools since preschool. The…read moreteachers and staff are friendly, caring and communicative. Small class size enables students to receive individualize attention. It is amazing to watch my little ones growing into confident, kind and curious learners. This is a Christian school, so they do have a Bible study class and chapel day. They do not impose any religion upon the students. School focuses on values, character development, academics and personal growth. My children are now in elementary and starting middle school grades. Our experience has been wonderful. I highly recommend this school.

I had one Bible class where the teacher spent a full 20 minutes ranting about how gay people are an abomination, and some of the teachers are very heavily involved in student gossip. Their health class? A bunch of poorly copied pdf files of a text book with anything to do with genitalia being scribbled out because "it's not of God." And if they find out your child is transferring to a new school? They try to scare them into staying, telling them that anywhere else they'll get beat up, made fun of, and ignored. I left after my junior year, and they didn't prepare me at all for college. I felt blindsided. Leaving was the most refreshing experience of my life. Everyone I talk to that I knew from the school still harbors heavy resentment toward this place. Save your money.

Worst. Decision. Ever. - A Never-Ending Nightmare at Clare County Adult Education…read moreThe Unseen Truth Behind Clare County Adult Education: A Look Behind the Curtain If I could give Clare County Adult Education zero stars, I absolutely would. This place is an absolute black hole for your time, effort, and any hope of actually graduating. I've been trapped in their endless cycle for years, and it's nothing short of a scam. They lure you in with promises of getting your diploma, but then it's class after class after class, with no end in sight. They kept telling me my credits weren't "graded" or "counted," even after I spent countless hours in their classrooms. Then, suddenly, "Oh, these are different classes now, you have to take these. Are we changed our counselors, or your teacher retired and did not grade your classes. Or these glasse they don't want us to teach in school so they were not graded. " It feels like a deliberate strategy to keep you paying and stuck in their system indefinitely. The teachers? Forget about it. They are completely irresponsible and frankly, careless. It's like they're just phoning it in, with no genuine concern for whether students are actually learning or progressing. There's zero personalized attention or even basic guidance. You're just a number, another body filling a seat. I've been going there for what feels like a lifetime, and for some reason, they even mentioned some connection to a campus in Las Vegas? What does that even have to do with my inability to graduate here in Clare County? It's just another confusing, unhelpful detail in this whole frustrating ordeal. Do yourself a massive favor and run, don't walk, away from Clare County Adult Education. They are not there to help you graduate; they are there to keep you in a perpetual state of "almost." Save your money, save your time, and find a place that actually cares about its students' success. It's disheartening when an institution designed to uplift and educate seems to operate with a hidden agenda. My experience at Clare County Adult Education feels less like a path to graduation and more like a carefully orchestrated performance, designed to keep students enrolled indefinitely rather than guiding them to success. From the outside, they present a picture of opportunity and support. But behind the scenes, it's a different story. The credit system seems deliberately opaque, with explanations shifting and previously earned hours mysteriously not counting. It creates a constant state of uncertainty, leading to more and more classes without a clear progression toward a diploma. This isn't just about individual teachers being "careless"; it feels like a systemic issue, designed to keep students in a perpetual cycle of enrollment. It's almost as if there's a strategic disarray in how courses are managed and how student progress is tracked. The constant introduction of "new" required classes, after years of dedicated effort, raises serious questions about the school's true commitment to its students' timely completion. When you're consistently told your efforts haven't been "graded" or "counted" after putting in the work, it speaks to a deeper, more troubling issue than simple oversight. This lack of transparency and apparent strategic ambiguity makes me wish someone could truly see what's happening behind the scenes at Clare County Adult Education. It's a disservice to every student who walks through their doors with genuine aspirations for a brighter future.
