However, we needed a realtor who is licensed in AZ. to represent us in purchasing property in Flagstaff. We purchased 2 homes and listed the first home we purchased. The third transaction was in August 2025. It was a listing to sell the first home we bought. After 6 months we were not happy with their service. We wanted to cancel our listing with them. Shane Randall and Marie Dagenais said we would have to pay them $1000 to cover their expenses related to that listing. We had never heard of anything like that happening before. They had already made in excess of $50,000 in commissions from the first two purchase transactions. As we felt it was just Shane Randall and Marie Dagenais being greedy. This was so out of the norm of how realtors did business, we thought their broker would cancel the listing without the $1,000 fee. When we contacted their broker, Bret Lamberson, at Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty, he was just as greedy as them and said we would have to pay the $1,000 in order to cancel the listing. We paid the $1000 to move on. We really needed to sell the first property and wanted to get a better agency to handle it. On all of our dealings with them, we were very disappointed with their lack of service. We always had to review the paperwork for accuracy and had little contact from them. We also discovered, after the fact, that upon their recommendations we had overpaid for both properties, as well as overpricing the property being sold to sell quickly. We hired a new realtor. He is excellent. He was shocked we were told we would have to pay $1000 to cancel the listing. Just remember that just because a realty office uses Sotheby's, in their name, which might make you think it's a luxury agency, it is just a franchise and what you get depends entirely upon the broker and realtors.

I repeatedly felt bullied and antagonized by them. I did not feel like I was ever listened to or that my opinions and wishes were valued. At one point, I was contacted by the title agent, who informed me that Shane and Marie had made a mistake on some paperwork and wanted an additional 1% total compensation. The proceeds of this sale were to benefit my late brother's three orphaned children, so I obviously was not okay with this change. I told the title agent no and called Shane and Marie to sort it out. During this phone call, I had to raise my voice to be heard. They stuck to the original compensation agreement at the end of this transaction, but I should never have been put in this position. This is one of many examples where I felt bullied and mistreated by Shane and Marie. When things finally came to a head, we got their broker, Brett Lmaberson, involved in releasing us from our contract. Shane and Marie wanted us to sign a Nondisclosure and nondisparagement clause as terms of termination. Brett Lamberson laughed in my face while explaining why we wouldn't agree to those terms. Overall, my experience with Sotheby's, Shane, and Marie was awful. Shane and Marie made an already very challenging time in my life even more stressful, frustrating, and painful. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I sent a question about long-term rentals to a bunch of places in Flagstaff. Realty Executives of Flagstaff responded within 20 minutes with more information including an info sheet and a specific referral. Two hours after that I had called the referral and located a long-term rental that will save me thousands of dollars compared to an Airbnb listing. Responding to emails goes such a long way and I just wanted to write this review to let the team here know how much I appreciate the help. Nobody else responded.

My experience with Wayne McCormick, Terri Clark and April Knapp is nothing short of amazing! Wayne and Terri have helped me sell a property and purchase our dream home. The skill that they have shown is impeccable. Wayne not only listened to what we wanted but through his astounding insight he knew what questions we would ask in the future and anticipate just exactly what we would need. Terri was very quick to respond to our texts and calls and returned quickly with any information we asked. I worked will April Knapp as my property manager of my rental and she helped sell that property without any complications. What a wonderful experience. She was on top of every problem and corrected the situation before I even had to be involved. What a magnificent characteristic. I'm away from Flagstaff a lot and to have her taking care of all the things that come up on a regular basis is so spectacular! I not only recommend these fine people but I look forward to working with them again. How many times after you got done with a situation did you think, "I would never want that again?" In their case, I can't wait to work with them again.

Add to that that we were looking for a vacation home that we only wanted but didn't need, and the patience level drops right to zero. But working with CiCi Chacana and the Collins Team made the whole thing WAY more pleasant. CiCi went above and beyond at every turn to make sure we were getting what we needed. I consider us incredibly lucky that when I put in a request to see a property, it was CiCi that called me back. Looking back in retrospect, I can say for a fact that if not for CiCi and all the work she put in, we'd have just quit the whole thing after about a day. She's outstanding. Highly recommended!.

Well, my husband and I were certain we were in the first category and soon found out we were in the last! No fear, Daniel listened to everything we said we wanted, but more importantly, OBSERVED, how we reacted when he showed us the homes that fit our "must have" list. Then he showed us the ideal property that was nothing like we described and exactly what we wanted!! The story is too long to tell, but after dozens (well, maybe not dozens, but lots) of properties, Daniel said, "Let's try this one." It wasn't on the schedule, but he just called over to make sure it was on the market, and it was a perfect fit. Go with Daniel and you won't be disappointed.

Who'd have thought going into a random & much too expensive open house years ago would create such a great rapport with someone who I'll keep trusting with anything realty related. I've never felt pressured to do anything with her as the focus has always been on what best fits my situation. She stays up to date in education regarding real estate trends & changes, as any time I have a question she provides new insights even though I try to stay well-versed myself as it's a special interest. I went to her to see a better view of my options moving forward. I trust her to give me her professional opinion which will benefit me best, rather than working on lining her pockets (weird phrase but you know what I mean): caring & not greedy. Makes such a difference! Any time I buy or sell or know anyone doing so, I suggest her as a realtor & Paul Conigliari as a lender because the level of proficiency & care really has made such a phenomenal difference in each real estate endeavor I've gone through. As I was selling a property that was 3 1/2 hours from my home, she was so helpful, responsive, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She had to coordinate getting a new septic tank put in on my property. I was so thankful for all of her efforts. She got the cabin listed quick ly and had a great photographer take pictures for the listing. It all went very smoothly. I would highly recommend Linda!!!!!!
