James with P-by-J was FANTASTIC!! he not only got the bathrooms working he told us why this happened and gave us an estimate of cost to fix it. My elderly father called Ambient Edge for a no-cooling issue on 6/29/26. Their own technician's…read moreinvoice states the compressor and capacitor tested fine -- yet we were charged $1,227 for a "bundle" that included replacing that same capacitor, plus a contactor and an unexplained "soft start" module, financed through a third party without clearly explaining the terms to my father. The repair failed within 18 days. On 7/16, they diagnosed the compressor as "shorted to ground" and quoted roughly $23,000 to replace the entire system -- despite it still being under a 10-year manufacturer warranty. My father was left without AC for days in 100°F+ heat. We called an independent, licensed company for a second opinion. They found only a failed contactor -- the same part Ambient Edge had just installed -- replaced it for $460, and documented normal compressor amp draw, a healthy temperature split, and good refrigerant pressures. No compressor replacement was ever needed. The system has run fine ever since. When confronted with this, along with inconsistencies in their own diagnostic readings, Ambient Edge refused a refund and stood by their original diagnosis. Get a second opinion before agreeing to major repairs here, especially on anything warranty-related.

Once I opened up the wall, I realized I was in over my head. I didn't feel comfortable using a torch inside the wall and did not own the crimping tool for the incoming PEX water supply Lines. I searched for local plumbers on Yelp (on a Saturday afternoon) and requested quotes from several businesses. I received a message from Jommon pretty quickly and sent photos of the new faucet as well as the current state of disassembly in my bathroom. They told me they could give me a much more accurate estimate if they could come by to see it in person. To my utter SHOCK they asked if they could come by on Sunday to have a look! I agreed and we set an appointment. Sunday morning, they arrived promptly. They were both very polite and professional. I showed them my issue and they clearly explained everything that would need to be done and how much it would cost. They were friendly and not at all condescending, which is honestly hard to find sometimes as a woman. At first, I had a bit of sticker shock but later, after thinking for awhile, I reached out to request an appointment on Monday to finish the faucet installation. I am SO GLAD that I decided to go with Jommon! They happily fit me into their busy schedule, they communicated clearly through every step, they were on time, heck - they even let me know when they were on the way so I could put my dog out BEFORE she heard the doorbell! I could not be more satisfied. They had my issue resolved before the end of Monday afternoon, by which time I had only heard back from one other local company and that company was rude to me while soliciting my business.
