The 2.8 rating from the Thorp GFL branch speaks volumes after working with them. I signed a contract for a 12 yr dumpster at my residential location. On the date of delivery the crew stated they did not have a 12 yrd but instead provided me with a 15 yrd dumpster instead. My contract stated that I was allowed 1 ton of garbage which would be appropriate for a 12 yrd dumpster. The crew FAILED to disclose that although they were supplying me with a larger dumpster, I still had to fill it within the means of 1 ton vs. 2 ton which is standard with a 15 yrd dumpster. Now how would anyone know when to stop filling at the appropriate level because at this point the dumpster is oversized and misleading. I was unaware that they were charging me for every pound exceeding the 1 ton as it was not disclosed until I was provided with an overcharged bill. I called the Thorp GFL branch and explained how this is misleading because the dumpster was no longer to scale with the tonnage appropriate for the size. The woman (unfortunately I did not get her name) was rude to say the least. She would cut me off and stated "I can send in a request for review but I will tell you right now that you are wasting your time and they are just going to deny it." It has been a very long time since I have dealt with someone so rude and unprofessional. And I work in customer service! She explained that she cannot help me and would not provide me with a name/phone number of someone else who I could express this concern to. I am completely baffled that this company operates this way and not to mention the hostility displayed by the office and accounting departments. I also spoke with Katie (accounting department) and she said " the reason we gave attitude on the phone was because you called about your account multiple times." I could go on and on with the unprofessional behavior displayed by this company but moral of the story if anyone needs dumpster rentals or waste removal services, save yourself the headache and instead hire a more reputable and higher rating company in Eau Claire or Wausau.
