I went 4 my back had an MRI. The doctor does not call to discuss ur results someone in the office does. I had 3 back surgeries so far and was told by many ppl that Rothman is different no it's not. Whoever called me said the doctor wants u 2 get injections me No. If u listen to the pt I have metal all in my back my mri should of been w/wo contrast. They would've seen a line around my spinal cord with nothing but them injections in it that never reached my spine. I wouldn't take my Dog to them.. It's like a sausage factory in Jefferson hospital downtown. They wheel u in 4 surgery and u never see them again even if ur having complications after surgery. Its the worst they will drug you up to keep u quiet.The hip doctor messed my other half up 4 life it's been 7 months and we haven't heard or seen him. Working with the Philadelphia Eagles and knowing how many pro athletes in multiple sports trust their orthopedic injury care to Rothman gave me confidence to trust the treatment they suggested. Although I will eventually need a total knee replacement that I had surgery on a number of times many years ago Dr. Philip R. Motley has provided me excellent pain relief and increased mobility using no oral pain medication. He suggested an injection of Monovisc, a synthetic replacement for the natural gel the cushions your kneecaps. He did the injection in the office and it provided 6 months of relief, I just had the second injection yesterday. He does the injection quickly and pain free. On days I walk 10 miles or more I use Voltaren Gel an over the counter anti-inflammatory medication and it's reduces the swelling and pain quickly. I highly recommended Rothman Orthopedic and Dr. Philip R. Motley MD. read more

Honestly, I feel like most doctor's visits I have are a disappointment. Long waits, doctors with poor bedside manner, problems with insurance or co-pays, etc. etc. I experienced none of that at Rothman. I tore my ACL in April. Initially I was seeing another doctor, but he only seemed to give me information when I pried it from him. I wasn't happy. Everyone I talked to - including 3 friends who had ACL reconstruction surgery - kept recommending "Rothman," "Rothman," "Rothman." How can you not follow so many high recommendations? A friend of a friend, who is himself a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, recommended his surgeon at Rothman, Dr. Michael Ciccotti. I was floored when I heard his resume including that he is the head physician for the Phillies. (http://www.rothmaninstitute.com/physicians/michael-g-ciccotti-md) I felt lucky to get an appointment with this guy. Initially I expected some pretension. I mean, this is a guy who does surgery on ballplayers with million dollar contracts, right? None of that was true. Dr. Ciccotti is friendly, caring, examines you thoroughly and explains everything thoroughly. For such an amazing surgeon he is amazingly down to earth. The same goes for his assistant, Leanne, who was insanely helpful with advice as well as all the paperwork that goes along with a surgery (documentation for work, disability, etc.) Topping all that off, the Rothman facility is beautiful and all of the other staff are just as friendly, on top of things, and efficient. The scheduler was super friendly and helped me make all my pre and post-operative appointments well in advance. One less thing to worry about? Awesome. The guy that fitted my brace and explained the CPM machine, quick and friendly. The tech that did my x-rays, quick and friendly. The front desk staff are great too. Plus, you know those forms you always have to fill out the first time you visit a doctor? Rothman has them all digitized on iPads. They will also e-mail you surveys about your progress so they have a running quantitative record of how you are doing functionally. Pretty damn impressive to see a doctors office that is truly in the 21st century. What's the final word? Two months out from surgery, with aggressive physical therapy helping me along the way, I'm walking totally normally with no brace, crutches, etc. Rothman is most of the reason why. I decided to choose Rothman Physical therapy because my Dr. is part of Rothman Orthopaedics and I love her. However, my experience with physical therapy was horrible from the beginning. I had scheduled an appointment first thing in the morning and told to show up 15 min early only to find out no one shows up until the second they open. So I was glad to waste my time that early in the morning. The first employee to arrive looked like they just woke up (eyes all swollen). Then I speak to reception. There was an issue with insurance as they claimed one thing and the insurance company claimed another. And rather than understand that I am the patient and the one in pain, the receptionist gets an attitude right away and becomes dismissive. Not only with me, but with the insurance company, as if she can not be wrong. I, on the other hand- after wasting my time all morning and having to cancel my appointment- was perfectly calm. Mix ups happen, I get that, but there is certainly no reason to be so rude especially if this is your job! Even if the insurance gets settled, I will not return to Rothman after having this wonderful reception. read more

I had been having pain in my arm for almost a year and a half. After visiting two other doctors to try to find out what was going on, and being tremendously disappointed in just about everything about those experiences, I made an appointment at Rothman with Dr. Marc Harwood. First of all, I was obviously impressed with the facility. It was huge, clean, and there was free parking. Second of all, the staff was very nice. Lastly, Dr. Harwood was actually able to give me a diagnosis! He first spent time talking to me about the problems I was having, then he gave me a pretty extensive physical exam, and then he looked at the X-rays they took just 20 minutes earlier. He noticed right away what the problem was, explained it to me, and gave me several possible treatment options and outcomes. I could not be happier. Well, maybe a little bit. It did take almost an hour to actually see him (my appointment was for 8:00), but I am willing to completely over look that due to the excellent care I received. Update: After being under Dr. Harwood's care for several months, and my condition not entirely going away, he recommended surgery. I wasn't quite fond of this option, so I went to a doctor at Penn (Dr. Brian Sennett) for a second opinion. I liked his options better, so I'm going to stick with him for now. I still think Dr. Harwood is a good doctor and knows what he's talking about, so try him out for yourself! read more

This company is an orthopedic factory. In the downtown Philadelphia office, patients sit in a huge waiting room, no consideration given to their condition. On my first visit, my wait was fairly short, only half an hour to be seen regarding my knee injury for approximately four minutes, by a doctor who talked over me, did not listen, indeed, didn't even look at me. My second visit, following up to my MRI was even worse. I waited for two hours to be seen, absolutely no update from the desk, no apology from anyone regarding the excessive wait time. Again, the doctor, a sports injury specialist, hardly looked at me, didn't allow for a conversation regarding my injury, gave me his perfunctory diagnosis from the MRI and referred me for a surgical consult. He would not address concerns I had about the knee injury other than what was visible on the MRI. I am an older woman; not a younger athlete, but am just as much a human being. I always appreciate being treated as one. If I do need surgery, it will most certainly not be here! read more

I'm not sure how other people are having good experiences here. I had an appointment in December for some ongoing back pain over the last few years. I showed up 20 minutes early, and was called up by the receptionist to pay my deductible 10 minutes late. She charged me the wrong amount and wouldn't listen when I told her it's usually more. (I'd later get an unexpected bill in the mail for the different amount.) They did an x-ray taken on my back with very little communication between the technician and myself. Then I was taken to an exam room. The doctor walked in after about 15 more minutes, looked at my x-ray, and gave me a quick "this is what's wrong with you and I won't listen to anything else from any other doctors." When I mentioned MRI results from the last year, he shot me down basically saying it didn't matter because his x-ray showed something else. So he asked me to bring a copy of my MRI disc so he can look it over and he'd call me back. I took the disc to the Center City location. That was the last contact I ever had with anyone at Rothman. No follow up call from Kitei, no idea where that disc has gone. So now I have a bill I just got in the mail for more money, on top of the fact that to get another copy of the MRI disc I'd have to pay $35. I've never felt so disrespected and blown off by medical staff in my life. read more

Update - Rothman contacted me very quickly after the review below. I am going to follow up with them to give constructive feedback. I think everyone there is trying to do a good job! They are professional. It's just too bad that there's an infrastructure issue and that you can't ever really speak to anyone in the actual office or resolve anything quickly.I want to add this because I think it's important to always include the good with the bad. It's really the only way things get better. I have no issues with the care that I received from them. The office is gorgeous and everyone was great. The problem is I called to confirm an appointment because the address didn't look right on the FOUR reminders that I received from them. After 45 minutes I gave up. I called the first time and was transferred to the hand department, but the phone put me on hold and no one answered. Then I called back and you have to punch in your phone number for them to call You which took 20 minutes and was told she couldn't find me in the system Then transferred again! And no one answered. I hung up and I'm not going to the appointment. Appointment was not around the corner from me and I had to make a judgment call on whether I wanted to drive another 45 minutes to find out that they wouldn't see me. I am sure they are surgeons are wonderful, but if you can't get anybody on the phone then what is the point. Heaven for bid you ever had a complication. They would be of absolutely no help. The only way I would go to these people as if I really didn't have anywhere else to go, which isn't the case in the tri-state area. I chose them truly on reputation, but They have a centralize number would you would think is a good idea, but they clearly can't manage the volume of calls and have a lousy system. I would have been more than happy to do all of this online, but the system didn't recognize me even though I've been there. I wouldn't even mind using voice prompts. This is disgraceful for a place as well recognized as rothman. I would never recommend for anybody to go there. read more

I have a review for Rothman Center City and the South Philly office is every bit as good. I nabbed a 1pm appointment here recently after waking up to a very swollen ankle. The doctor performed some expert level diagnosis and let me know that I had tendinitis. I got fitted for an air-cast, a prescription of anti inflammatory medication and I'm back on my way He spent about 20 minutes with me discussing my training routine, advising me on what sneakers to buy and talking me through my recovery process. It seems that good bedside manner is alive and well at Rothman. This place is the standard to which I judge all other medical establishments. I had both of my hips replaced 7 weeks apart by Dr. Levicoff at Bryn Mawr Hospital. I could not be happier with the end result along with the care I received! I did a great deal of research before deciding to move forward with a total hip replacement. I was in constant pain for years leading up to this decision. Dr. Levicoff was my third consult and I couldn't be happier with my choice. That research included identifying the best possible surgeon to perform the procedure and Dr. Levicoff has far exceeded my expectations. The entire staff at the Rothman Institute and the Bryn Mawr Hospital, from the front desk clerks, nurses, to the technicians, were all courteous and professional. I think this started out as a great idea with great docs, but has morphed into a human assembly line. When you walk in, you are in a waiting room with many patients. you get called into the room, get an xray, go to the Exam room and get about 6 minutes to discuss your issues. There is no way that the doc examined your records in that time. He does not have time to review that with you because he is onto the next patient. I would love to know the headcount of patients that each doc sees in a day. I felt like a part in an factory assembly line than a human being. There is no way that you feel that you are getting the care needed for a serious issue. read more

Help is not just a moment away as their phone system tells you. I have been suffering with a meniscus tear with Baker's cyst that keeps bursting for over 6 weeks--very painful with a lot of swelling in calf and foot. The first doc I saw in Bryn Mawr was awful--gave wrong information and told me to RICE and call him in 4 weeks if it didn't get better. Decided to try Lankenau doc instead since the encounter with this office was unsatisfactory and the doc so terse and lacking in any kind of compassion (To get a follow-up appointment it took over 20 minutes with their crazy centralized automated phone system). Then had to wait 2 more weeks to get appointment at which time I was told that he wrote different info in his note: "if doesn't get better needs to see surgeon." So they cancelled my follow-up appointment because it wasn't with a surgeon and I waited around until a surgeon was available. Now I'm getting the run-around from the surgery coordinator who was to arrange pre-op procedures and schedule surgery--heard nothing in over 24 hours, no response from leaving VM, now I'm waiting again on their automated phone system as the office coordinator at Lankenau is trying to get me through to the scheduler directly. 15 minutes so far without a response. This is a case of an understaffed overburdened system that creates stress for staff and and patients alike. There are very helpful individuals working for Rothman but the system needs a major overhaul that allows staff time to actually do their jobs. Now I'm told the scheduler will call me back and I have her direct line if she doesn't. We'll see what happens. BTW, my 1st visit was to the Rothman Urgent Care in Limerick--highly recommend them for friendliness, helpfulness, and efficiency. So, I'm still waiting to see if I can get any relief..... read more

I had written a previous review which wasn't very flattering based on my experiences at the Center City location. I hadn't planned on coming back. I was going to make an appointment at Penn Orthopedics with the surgeon who had performed a revision procedure on my left knee joint about 4 years ago. He did a wonderful job. I still can't believe how well the joint works! Recently I started to have pain in my right knee that had an arthroplasty performed 17 years ago by a surgeon in a small, local hospital. After discovering that Dr. David Nazarian was no longer at Penn I had to do some Googling to find him. I made an appointment with some trepidation due to my previous experiences at Rothman. But, only Dr. Nazarian will do for my knee issues. Well. My experience with the office staff and radiology technician was great. I did have to wait about 45 minutes before I was placed in an exam room but the waiting room was very comfortable and the wifi was excellent. I was so happy to see Dr. Nazarian when he walked into the exam room. Such a nice guy and a top-notch orthopedic surgeon. Turns out I didn't need surgery (yay!). Rothman is lucky to have Dr. Nazarian on board. Also, Rothman has redeemed themselves and I will use the doctors there if I have additional orthopedic problems other than large joint arthritis. Friends and family tend to respect my recommendations for specialists. They're going to hear all about the Rothman Institute!! read more

Ive had a nagging leg injury since I injured it in a race back in November. I have been in and out of podiatrists since then. Usually they NEVER stick to scheduled times. my appointment with Dr. Taweel was at 10:30am. I was told to be there a little early for xrays. I got there right at 10 and was a little nervous when i saw a waiting area full of people. However, like clockwork I was brought in for xrays around 1015 - they took 6 xrays in literally 5 mins. I was brought right in on time after the xrays to meet with the doc and he had me on my way in an ankle brace in 10 mins. I have never been in and out of a doctor's office that fast. read more

I am being seen at the Chalfont location. My surgeon is awesome in every way. Since Rothman has taken over from Orthapedicare the administrative side has quickly gone down hill. Waiting for an appointment has gone from 10 to 15 mins to 1hr plus. Trying to maneuver the phone system is cumbersome and when you get a human they are very abrupt. Three calls same result, I am not a rude person on the phone. Very very frustrated!!!!!!! Update: I have no desire to contact Rothman. It will not change how the system works. New to town and was recommended to Rothman by my primary physician. He and I will need to talk, because my visit was undoubtedly the worst experience I've ever had at a doctor's office. The only positive notes were the women at the front desk and my x-ray tech. Friendly and helpful, what I've learned to expect from a doctor's office. Doctor Broyer, on the other hand, was extremely disinterested in what I had to say. I told him about what I was experiencing and as it's intermittent and not consistent, I was hoping to get someone who wanted to dig into the issue. Unfortunately, I was simply told "Everyone gets this. People with your condition get it more. That's just how it is." Even if what he told me is true, his delivery made it seem like he just wanted me to leave. He also referred to me as physically malformed and not ideal.. I love going to the doctors to get insulted! Overall, he reminded me of a teenager who got called into work on their day off and didn't want to be there... Huffing and puffing and tossing charts around instead of acting like, I don't know, a professional. The doctor was cursing throughout the entire appointment, mainly directed at the computer ("what is this shit", "come in you piece of shit") and called the same system retarded a few times. Not sure what class teaches that in med school. The overall tone of the office mirrored his unprofessionalism. Audibly talking about how hungover they were and bullshitting about the draft/their weekend instead of being attentive to their patients (my doctor included). Maybe if you're a famous athlete they'll treat you with respect. If you're not, avoid this place like the plague. read more

I was given a referral by my urgent care clinic to go to Rothman Philadelphia after injuring my knee. I was unable to walk after my injury so took an uber to medical supply for crutches. I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Kenneally for the following morning. Waited over an hour and a half but was just glad to be able to see a doctor. The doctor came in and barely had time or interest in my condition. Read an X-ray and gave me a perfunctory exam. Saw my crutches and asked where I got them. After telling him I purchased them because I could barely walk, he said "try not to use them" no explanation at all or wanted to hear that I had extreme difficulty walking. I then asked for an MRI scrip. I went to check out and was told I needed an authorization code for MRI and to call back. When I called back the same day they said I did not need one and to schedule my MRI for the following day. I questioned why I was unable to get it that day as I was already there and had great difficulty walking. They said they were probably booked up. I promptly made and appt with Atlantic Care imaging and had my MRI done there as my friend could drive me and told me what a wonderful facility it was. (She was right) I called back after receiving the MRI report, by the way it indicated a meniscal tear and a ruptured bakers cyst, wanted to see a different doctor and was told that was not possible as I have to see the doctor that ordered my MRI. After telling the operator I would not send my worst enemy to him I am now looking for another doctor outside of Rothman. It is like a mill, and just pumping out patients with no thought for their care. Please rethink patient care and doctors. read more

5 stars to the doctors. This review is for the physical therapy department. I'm sure the Therapists are excellent but due to the smug front desk people I won't be returning. I arrived for my 3:30 appointment and was told it was the day before. When I tried to explain that this was not true and actually prove it to them based on conversation with the therapist and the assistant (who was there), they dismissed me and told me I was wrong. I was not. My conversation the week before: Therapist: "Can you come a week from today, next Tuesday?" Me: "No, that is Election Day and I'll be working." Therapist: "Okay, how about Wednesday at 3:30?" Me: "I will have to leave work early but it will work." Therapist: "Great, you won't see me though because it's my day off." So I arrived at the scheduled time and was told I was wrong and would have to reschedule. Had they not been so rude, I might have. But honestly great therapist are a dime a dozen. Dr. Paul Marchetto saw me a few years ago for knee problems, and when I dislocated my knee again this year, they took me in right away. He diagnosed everything, recommended a gym regimen to strengthen muscles for support, and he didn't push surgery or unnecessary procedures. When he saw the bewildered expression on my face, he said I could do some physical therapy to learn what I needed before starting the gym stuff, but didn't push it right away for extra moolah. Recommended various places for PT (didn't push for the PT at Rothman) and told me I could choose wherever, but I chose Rothman for convenience and to keep my medical records consolidated. Rothman Physical Therapy has turned out to be amazing, too! They don't just give you a process to follow; they watch and listen to you and tweak every visit. Can't go wrong! read more

Dr.. Harwood has been great in treating a knee injury. He actually advised against surgery, knowing my knee can't take it. I had other docs that pushed for surgery that I wasn't comfortable with. Most recently, I am seeing Dr. Gekas for an ankle injury. She is giving me time to try nonsurgical treatments as a first step. I've never had doctors who understood me so well and who were so compassionate. It means so much to have doctors who truly care. read more

My experience to date has been nothing but one of continuing incompetence, errors and arrogance. Four doctors into care by Rothman and I feel that 3 of the 4 have verged on being charlatans with attitude. Administration and IT have lost my records, ignorantly and needlessly harassed my insurance adjusters and primary care doctors, Now, my Rothman doctor has filed what I consider an incomplete, inaccurate and misleading report that I was able to return to work on modified duty. I am not. In order to receive my medical records that Rothman provided to my insurer, I have to pay a high fee per page, but my insurer gets theirs free. They are my medical records to which I am entitled. After 18 months of hospital, rehabilitation facility and medical specialist care, Rothman is the only medical care provider that has required payment in order to obtain my own medical records. In my humble opinion, Rothman is treading on thin ice with a reputation that has long since evaporated. I am out the door and headed elsewhere. Please don't be mislead and influenced by all of their expensive advertising ... they are not what you think. read more

In April 2016 I tripped on a curb, breaking my fall with my right hand. The hand suffered multiple lacerations and broken bones. After receiving emergency treatment at a Jefferson primary care clinic, I went to Rothman for surgery to repair the broken bones in my hand. After examining the X-rays, Dr Wang recommended surgery to realign the bones. His explanation was clear and supported by the X-rays which he showed me. The following week the surgery went smoothly, during which Dr Wang re-cleaned and re-sutured the lacerations and pinned the broken bones with three screws that protruded from the outside of the hand. After the operation Dr Wang gave me written instructions for caring for the pins, a prescription for antibiotics and a schedule of post-op visits. During the recovery period, the hand was immobilized in a plastic sleeve to protect the pins. While I had some discomfort in the hand after the operation, I followed Dr Wang's instructions and had no infection afterwards. Five weeks after the operation Dr Wang removed the pins and sent me to their physical therapist for instructions on how to restore my ability to grasp things. Because the hand had been immobilized, my fingers had lost their ability to close. The physical therapist gave me a set of instructions on how to exercise the hand and the option to do them on my own or to return to Rothman for periodic physical therapy. I opted to do the exercises on my own. A year after the fall, my hand is fully recovered and has full functionality. Dr Wang's office contacted me periodically during that period to see how my recovery was progressing, but I had no issues to report. I was pleased with the professionalism and patience of the Rothman staff: the billing staff, schedulers, x-ray technician nurses, anesthesiologist and Dr Wang. If I have another orthopedic problem, I would definitely consider them again for care. read more

I hurt my knee 3 weeks ago and it hasn't gotten better it has onlygotten worse so I went to get it looked at today I got there and there was no wait I got my x-rays and I had to walk all the way to the elevators and it was very clear that I was struggling and I went into my room and the doctor walks in and asked a few questions then came up and felt around my knee she said does this hurt I said yes a lot and she pressed even harder. After the continued to hurt me even more she looked at the x-rays and said I don't see any thing wrong so just take some ibuprofen and ice it. I saw Dr. Craig Rubenstein for the 2nd time on 3/23/2018 for elbow pain. I had seen him back on October 2017 and we were trying to treat the pain conservatively. On my 2nd visit since the pain did not subside he suggested a cortisone shot. So far so good...the pain has subsided quite a bit...although this might not be long term, I can sleep at night now and able to lift my arm without pain. Dr. Rubenstein was very professional and I truly felt he cared about helping me with my pain. I would definitely recommend Dr.Rubenstein and the Rothman Institute. read more

This is the worst place ever! They have the same phone number for all doctors! It just goes to a call center. I called on a Monday for MRI results that I was told are in the computer. By Wednesday I called again then again on Friday! Also my mother in law had major back surgery called the stupid call center and left an URGENT message at 8:30 am. We called back at 11 and was told that it's in the computer. Called again at 2:30 and then was told he has no hours today and will call tomorrow. We could not talk to anyone else in the practice. We called the next day at 8:30 and didn't hear from the doctor til 4. No one called to check on her after surgery. I will never go to a Rothman doctor again. At this point all I want is my MRI to take to a different Doctor! Lumbar fusion in 2016 along with disketomy and decompression by Dr. Vacarro. 10-12 weeks after surgery developed new pain with radicular pain. 2 years later, still struggling to return to an active life. My back stays in a "braced" mode (extremenly tight). No one has been able to explain why. Sent to Dr. Simon by Dr. Vaccaro to try neuro drugs to help with pain. Tried two epidurals as well. Last month, have been in and out of spasms three times. This last bout has me housebound. While Dr. Vacarro is a great surgeon, his bedside manner is lacking, he rushes through appointments and passes you off to his pain management team. He does not take the time to truly verify if his surgery was a success and does not try to get to the root cause of what might have gone wrong. Dr. Simon is very compassionate, but the options he can offer are epidurals, drugs or other surgical intervention. Not a holistic approach. He seems to be spread too thin. It took me a month to get an imaging script in November 2017 and when I did get it, some of the testing was excluded. (November imaging shows herniated disk below surgical site and a ball of suspected scar tissue on L4 nerve root). I slowly improved by doing my lumbar stabilization program and was feeling stron agin by February 2018. Now, here I am in excruciating pain, I can not get an appointment until October and trying to get a script for the test that was omitted in November; Calls not returned (but did receive an incomplete email). No script yet after a week. Amazing, this is a pain management doctor and this is the response. When I had the surgery 2 years ago, Dr. Vaccaro promised to take good care of me and get me make to the sports and other activities that I love. Here I am two years later and I now realize I will never play golf, tennis, paddle or run or do other aerobic type sports. I have worked very hard on my own to get as strong as possible and also sought alternative treatments. I saw a chiropractor for Active Release Technique to break up scar tissue. This helped to get me on my feet and moving better. I then started myofascial release treatments which further helped break up scar tissue and helped me further increase my activity. I am now doing deep tissue massages. But, I continue to be in a cycle of feeling better and more active and then, wham, get hit with increased pain. As I write this review, I can walk for about 3-5 minutes (while in pain) and then have to sit down because pain escalating (which means could make things worse if continue to walk). I have hope that I can get back to how I felt August 1. And then, I have to figure out how to maintain that level. In the meantime, I sought out some feedback from a spine surgeon with Steadman Clinic, Colorado. I shared my MRI results with him on his forum and received feedback in 2 hours with three possible causes of my pain and what tests were needed. I am now pursuing these tests. I've visited the South Philadelphia office on many occasions, where I've seen Dr. Harwood and Dr. Lonner. The staff is friendly and efficient. I can't say enough about the doctors. Dr. Harwood has treated my knees for years, and Dr. Lonner performed a total replacement on one of them. Without their help, I doubt that I'd be able to travel or to keep working. I loved going to the South Philadelphia Office. Everyone are always caring and kind. Their Office Manager is a sweetheart Pina. Their Physical Therapists are awesome and very caring to every patient getting some type of therapy. read more

I don't know about the Philadelphia offices, but the Newtown, PA office of the Rothman Institute has at least one doctor who specializes in nasty. I won't mention his name here. I will only say that God help you if you question the language in the consent form for surgery. Since I have a legal background, I questioned the wording in the consent. The consent actually says you asked questions and were answered to your satisfaction. But when I asked a couple of questions, the doctor overheard me and became defensive and RUDE. He actually told me to go "find another doctor." Just a word to the wise. read more
