One of the many stresses of moving home is relocating all of your stuff, right?…read more Wrong! The Small Removal Co. made the move really easy. They're BAR British Association of Removers) approved so you know already that they meet standards, but I was also pleased that their quote was considerably lower than another one I received. I called about three weeks before the move date. A member of staff come to my old home to provide a quote a couple of days later. He told me how it worked, explained their insurance pricing and called back the same day to tell me the price and that the letter was in the post already. My only niggle here was that he turned up late to the appointment and the quote didn't mention the £100 refundable deposit for packing materials. That extra money was a bit of a shock when I was asked to pay it 5 days before the move. Packing boxes (in two sizes) arrived 10 days before moving day. I did email them to ask for them so can't comment on how they typically do it. On the big move day two smaller vans arrived in place of a single large van. This was much better because of the access to my flat being quite tricky. The two removals men were great. They arrived at 8:15, loaded by 11:15 and we'd unpacked at the new home by about 1:30. The bigger pieces of furniture were taken apart and reassembled really quickly. Only difficult thing for me was not getting involved beyond making tea and coffee. I felt quite useless! I'd happily recommend them to people moving house.

Trinity Estates don't care if they annoy you. They really don't…read more In our case, we have demonstrated that Trinity should act according to our TP1 Transfer Document, even highlighting the text. This is literally the contract that we have with Trinity. They still don't act... I have submitted several complaints. They lie to your face. They pretend that the text says something that it doesn't. If you complain about an individual, they ask that individual to investigate themselves. It is no surprise that they don't. If you escalate that complaint, they give it to the same person. So you cannot complain because they ignore it. Nobody is accountable and they will make your life worse rather than do **literally anything**. But you get to pay them for the privilege. Disgusting... avoid at all costs

As far as I can tell all they…read morehave 'managed' to do is mismanage funds (how can a 7.5 year old build only have £3.7k in its sink fund - there are 48 flats here!). They have also 'managed' to increase the monthly fees from around £80 per month to £134 and yet still demanding a shortfall from each property owner of £378 giving ONE MONTH NOTICE! And this is it the first year that they have had a shortfall, it seems they increase the price every year, mismanage the funds every year and demand more every year! Yet the public hallway of our block has peeling paint and had no working fire warning system for sometime. Oh and did I mention that a portion of that £378 is to recoup the funds they spent defending themselves against a fellow leasee at tribunal!!

A great place to spend a beautiful sunny spring day! Parking costs a £5 for the day and about half that if you're arriving after 5pm. It's free for National Trust members. Don't worry if you've forgotten your sticker, just show them your card at the gate and you'll be issued with a little paper ticket. There are at least 3 car parks I can think of off the top of my head. One right at the entrance, one near the lake and one by the cafe. I'd drive right in and stop by the cafe as it offers the most central location, allowing easy access to all parts of the forest. There are lots of trails, open fields as well as forested areas so a bit of everything. I saw quite a few signs of bushcraft so if you're into that then this is a great place to put in some shelter building practice.

A great day out, couldn't recommend it highly enough…read more Lots for kids of all ages to do here, there's a large lake for fishing, an area for feeding geese and ducks, loads of tree's to climb, plenty of wildlife, and best of all LOADS OF SPACE! Great to ride to and around on a bike, the cafe does a great range of homemade pies that really are worth the trip alone. There's numerous sturdy picnic benches that seat up to 8, and at easter/xmas that do a little treasure hunt for the young uns, which my lot love. Get down there pronto, but if you are going to drive, please have the decency to pay to enter the car park. For years there have been loads of people parking on the road and entering for free, so finally double yello lines have been painted on. Sad but necessary.
