A little beer and bar food was exactly what we needed at the hotel bar to tie us over on a Sunday…read morenight in this Bavarian city of Nurnberg, Germany. We tried a couple of great German draft beers along with soup, pizza and a chicken sammy for our group. I'm always amazed at the beautiful glassware used all over Europe proudly displaying the the brewer's prestigious name. Tonight, we tried a golden-colored wheat beer with lush, white foam brewed in Munich and an Oktoberfest-style Pilsner from a small town just north of Nurnberg. Both hit the mark. The Acom Hotel's Bar was just what we needed for a late Sunday night snack.
