There's wildlife to see such as squirrels and birds, and you can even see some turtles in the little stream. A lot of people like to go walking early in the morning because it's a lot cooler and I would agree with that. There's ample parking in multiple lots. There's also two dog parks one for small dogs and one for larger dogs. Everyone usually abides by all the dog rules, except I do notice dog poop along the walking trail sometimes and people are leaving it and not picking it up. Walking through the trees is really nice. There's a couple benches along the way so if you get tired, wanna sit down, you can do so. On the other side of the park near the swimming pool there are basketball courts and tennis courts. They have children's play areas as well.

The equipment is in good shape and painted nicely. There is a large pavilion available along with plenty of shade and a restroom building. The water fountain at the restrooms was also turned off. So me being a nature girl and wanting my dogs to not die of heat exhaustion. I found some empty bottles in the trash and climbed down the creek to fill them up with water. If you are going to keep this park open for dogs keep the water on. It has not been anywhere close to freezing in the last week so there is no excuse. Besides my need for a hike they enjoyed the agility course. This is the closest park to my house and I'm very upset about my visit.

Reason for the name is it's located next to an industrial park. It's good for mountain biking, hiking, walking or running. It can get muddy during times of rain and if it's too bad they will close it. Dogs are welcome as long as they are leashed. There is a nice paved parking area with plenty of green space to sit and rest. Today there was some folks with a pop up tent cover, mountain bikes and they were grilling. Highly rated and usually I crowded and peaceful.

They also of course have the double gates when entering and exiting which were functional. I would have liked it if they closed a little better automatically to know someone might not properly close it but it seemed fine. Lots of shaded and unshaded area so take your pick. Lots of poop bag dispensers. One was empty and it was kinda a walk to the others. I had my own bag so no big deal. I do kinda want to take away a star because every trash can was full of trash (like drink cups) and overflowing. BUT it was a Sunday and it's probably a city thing to empty the trash so maybe a busy weekend. Also.. maybe I should have given it a 4 because I'm now remembering the human/dog water fountain did not work. Kind of concerning when it's 100+ if you don't know.. and you or your dog gets overheated ... yeah okay actually changing the 5 to a 4. I will say there is a dog washing hose near the entrance so if a dog or human gets overheated you can hose them down. Lots of seating. Lots of bridges. They have a nice set up for small and large dogs. I have noticed that dome folks disagree on small and large dog size so you can get some bigger dogs on the small side. Mine just wants to smell everything and really doesn't care about playing much. They do maintain it well. Just wish everyone would pick up their dog waste.
