The photos posted online look accurate. Negatives/needs improvement: Would appreciate fabric softener in the towels to make them less rough!! It would be nice if they provided (face) wash cloths. We think the food served at dinner could be much better. We didn't sit out on the patio in the morning due to then smell of manure in the fields. The closest town is Foggia, which is approximately 10 minutes away by car. Note: the adjoining building is another bank of rooms which are decorated similarly. Apparently that is the father's business partner? We would stay there again but would bring fabric softener as a gift to them!!!

San Giovanni Rotondo Taxi #23 is the best! I want to give him ten stars but Yelp will not let me…read more My wife and I had the chance to meet Leonardo the owner as my wife and I chartered his taxi for numerous trips while in San Giovanni Rotondo. It all started when my wife and I needed a taxi to pick us up in Foggia where the train was dropping us off. We were not sure what we were going to do if we couldn't reach anyone or how long we would be waiting if we did reach anyone. My wife called his telephone number listed for his business and Leonardo answered and said he would come get us.right away. Being our first time in Italy we were not sure what to expect and how the taxi system works and Leonardo came and got us. In perfect English he assured us that we were with the right taxi company. This was done by the way he addressed our concerns with understanding and as if he was putting himself in our shoes. We had him take us to all of our excursions including dropping us off at the train station in Foggia several Times and he would often text us to make sure that we are okay once we had arrived. If he knew of something that we needed to be aware of, he let us know much like a caring and concerned family member would when family comes to town. We are planning on being back in four to six months and Leonardo will get all of our business and any friends that come this way too. He is a caring person with a really big heart and I wish his business the success he deserves. Thank you Leonardo, you are the family member we did not know we had in Italy until now. Ciao! Robert
