UPDATED…read more I have just increased my assessment from 4 stars to 5 stars. Had my car in for service and pre-MOT inspection. Found quite a few things (which I expected) and fixed them all for a very reasonable cost of £186 all in (which I didn't expect!)- including the service! - £90 labour & remainder parts. This included wipers, replacing CV boot, replacing corroded brake pipe (which had been noted as an advisory at last MOT), freeing a brake component. I've paid more than that for the CV boot alone at other garages! I paid for time genuinely spent and parts used, not some 'looked up' cost/time value and parts retail mark up. This is one of the most honest garages I have ever dealt with. No hard sell, schmooze or bamboozling. Just honest advice. This guy more than deserves his living! Through Auto Trader website I looked for x-type Jaguars available for sale in UK. I set a price…read morelimit and max. mileage. Auto Trader also gave me trade-in price for my current car. I made a short list of Jags. which were of most interest to us and Jag at Culloden Car Sales was top of list. Culloden Car Sales agreed to value placed on my car by Auto Trader although they hadn't seen the car and I had no service record for the car, although I did assure the owner ( Donnie ) that my car was in very good condition. Donnie agreed not to sell the Jag until I could travel up from fife the following day. Saw Jag following day and it was all as expected. Donnie's colleague ( Ross ) was happy with my car, so everybody happy with no problems. I found both Donnie and Ross very straightforward / honest individuals. Very good experience indeed.

On arrival, you can't quite see the clear plastic reception sign, however the gentleman we head for was friendly & professional, who actually got out of his chair & didn't just point. They provide a service that drives you into Inverness & collect when the car is ready. There is a sit down area, refreshments are supplied. Receptionist said it would be 5- 10 mins before leaving, I would say less than 5. They called, collected us, when the Recptionist was asked questions, she called a gentleman with more knowledge than herself on the subject. Superb Custmer Service from all we met that day.

The selection of vehicles is also quite good as there is no particiular franchise so they get everything from Audi to Vauxhall. And the service offerred by this garage is also quite good. If there is any particular car that you are after if one arrives at there centre of if they can source it for you they will contact you and let you know. Which can help take the hassle out of buying a used car. There is also the occasional bargain to be had on trade in Vehicles. But to get the bargain cars you have to be quick as they arrive and disappear on the same day. So you really have to check by visiting the dealer than checking the paper as by the time the paper is printed the car will be gone or it will have arrived after the paper was printed.
