A lot of different entities running parts of park and nobody from one area seems to be able to speak to another. The fishing regs are very complicated so much so that I wouldn't even try fishing unless you are a regular. You buy a license, then go have your gear checked, which you only find out about after you buy your license. Either the details of the regs are in some fine print somewhere or just not documented but it seems that essentially any fishing gear that has been used outside of the park is at risk of not being allowed to be used in the park. I get the desire to protect against invasive species but just don't allow fishing to accomplish vs the system that has been put in place. I would pass on this park.

Running water in the washrooms, complimentary showers, mosquitoes the size of small house pets & the 1 running about 1.5km away. I guess they could use a few more tree lines to block out the backup beeping sound from the nearby warehouse facility. The cost is right considering the amenities provided. There's also a mini museum or showcase of antique gear right by the registration office.
