Let's start with the obvious - pediatrician visits in general are no fun - but still necessary…read more As parents we often dread it -Our kids are crazy, if not screaming; we usually have to take time off work to go there; front office staff can be difficult, and half the time our kids will end up getting sick from other sick kids that are there. So, any review for a pediatrics office has to be relative to that baseline. Roseville, truthfully, is as good as it's going to get. The doctors are nice, rooms are clean, nurses are sweet to kids. It's organized. Good parking. Is it fun going here? No. But it's never fun to take your kid to a doctor. Bottom line - got a kid? Go here.

A few of the Dr's are nice- but the office staff not so much and there is a huge lack of appointments, sick and annual well child appointment problem. Reaching the nurses is also difficult and several times messages I left with a nurse have not been passed along, were passed along incorrectly, documents not completed, etc. My child was also misdiagnosed and we are just starting to deal with the consequences of that. I wish I would have chosen a smaller practice and am looking into switching now. My child needed better care and she was just a number there.

I would appreciate if this review could find its way to Dr. Michael Krall. Dr. Krall is a very good…read moredoctor who created rapport with both of my children in his previous practice. Since the dissolution of that practice, I have been consistently disappointed with his corporate overseers at UPMC. The last few visits my son and I have waited in the waiting room for a minimum of 20 minutes. This past visit, I was told that he could not be seen because 1. I went into the "sick" entrance instead of the "healthy" entrance, and 2. They have a five minute late policy, and it was 8:06. Dr. Krall, you are a good doctor who inspired trust in my children. You gave them their first inoculations when they were just a few weeks old. And now because of your affiliation with UPMC, you will never see them as patients again. Please break free from UPMC. You are being managed by accountants who expect you to be a means to their production goals instead of an advocate for the children you treat.

If your child has autism, or may have autism, this is the last pediatrician's office you want to…read moresee. Before my son was diagnosed with autism, Dr. Burks kept telling me not to worry about him not speaking or having autism. Another doctor told me that becuase he was a happy baby and wasn't screaming when they touched him, that he definitely didn't have autism. I didn't listen to them and took him to Penn state health and he was diagnosed with autism. If I would have listened to heritage pediatrics, I would have never got him tested. Fast forward a few years, my son had a suspected UTI. I took in a sample of his urine and they lost it. I called several times and I was told they would call me back and they never did. I finally went in, in- person to ask where the sample was and after getting shuffled around from nurse to nurse, the doctor admitted that it was lost. She tried to blame covid even though covid had been "over" for about a year or two at that point. Last, one of the newer doctors at the practice dismissed my concerns about scoliosis in my son. We had X-rays of his abdominals done for constipation issues and in the X-rays you could see a curve of his spine. Dr. Crawl quickly checked him and said he was fine. I took him to Penn State orthopedics last week and they diagnosed him with a 28 degree curve of his spine. They also told me that children with autism have a high chance of having things like scoliosis, something that his pediatricians at Heritage never told me. I am so utterly disgusted with the care or lack there of from Heritage I could just cry. They have let us down over and over again. I have tried to switch but many of the good pediatricians in this area aren't currently accepting new patients. Do not make the same mistake I did and got to Heritage.

First thing first, shoutout to everyone on the nursing staff. During labor and delivery Nurse…read moreMaggie was an absolute Rockstar. The Dr and Anesthesiologist were great at explaining everything and laying out all options. They were friendly and kind to the doula as well! We gave them a birth plan and they followed it completely. We had another nurse in couplet care named Binika who was outstanding and stayed 30 minutes past her shift due to an emotional situation. She was outstanding as well. Overall, the visiting hours and down time hours were perfect. Gave us time to recover and try to get some rest. Lactation support was amazing. They were very helpful with my wife and she was very appreciative of the staff for assisting her with this. My wife and I are grateful for their services and the safe delivery of our baby. Would definitely recommend Women's and Babies Hospital! The food was okay, but the peanut butter pie was stellar! The day of birth meal for the mom is between crab cakes, steak or lobster. My wife said it was delicious and the best meal she had there! Dad's don't complain about it to your wife, but that couch is rough

I had the worst care at women's and babies, they push procedures on you they don't leave you alone…read moreto rest the list goes on and on. I did not need an episiotomy and they kept on trying to get me to do it, the baby was not in distress the shoulders were not stuck and I did not want an episiotomy. They charge you an arm and a leg for bad service. The doctor I had was not able to answer any of my questions. I do not reccommend womens and babies at all. I am going to stick with the womens place for any future births I have.I also wanted to add when they did the induction they inserted the needle so it sits in my arm painfully and because of that I could not sleep when they offered to reinsert it I agreed and the second time was just as painful. They wanted to run expensive tests on me and my child I refused.
