Oh, the good ol' days of Sam Walton. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case and many products are only made overseas. With that being said, there are some items I'll get here including bottled, canned, and boxed foodstuffs such as soda, flour, beans but I tend to stay away from their produce and meats with a few exceptions. There are a few general merchandise items that you can find on sale but again the quality of many items are quite cheap. As for this store, the people who work here are all generally nice and it's actually the only Walmart I've ever been to where an associate asked me if I needed help finding something. Malls in general are dying, but on the day I visited- a few days before Christmas- it was packed! The traffic from I-95 helps too- if you are traveling through SC and need shopping, this Florence exit is the place to stop. Travelers staying in hotels also have store options (Belk, Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods) to buy whatever they may have forgotten or need. While Target isn't a mall anchor, it is just a short walk across the Belk parking lot. A lot of the typical mall stores I liked here have closed- Victoria's Secret, Express, Aeropostale. A lot of the newer mall stores are not my style but seem to be doing well for the demographics of this area. The Primo Pizza in the food court closed, but it still has Chick-Fil-A, Chinese Food, Charley's, and plenty of other options just down the road. What used to be JC Penney when I was growing up has been replaced with a huge arcade. I didn't go inside, but it's great that the mall has a place for folks to hang out, have fun, and be together, fostering friendships without necessarily buying stuff.

Everything was well stocked. You could walk through easily. So, I just had a quick browse through the ladies clothing, bedding area and the shoes of course. I found a cute pair of Red Canvas Jellypop shoes. $39.99. They were 50% off. I paid $20. I've never even heard of Jellypop. These shoes are co comfortable. The female cashier was trying too hard to get me to get a Belk Credit Card. When you say No, it should just be No. That's why I rated them 4 stars.

Food , bathroom items , cleaners , fresh produce , fresh meats , grilling supplies , fishing supplies , beach items , you name it ! Upstairs they have a shop with all kinds of beach items like shirts , decorations , swimwear , hats , wind chimes , games , coffee cups , and on and on. The prices are fair for North Myrtle Beach / Myrtle Beach. Of course you have to go up to the observation area that looks like a lighthouse and look at the ocean and the surrounding area , it's free.
