I gave it to him on Fathers's day in June. By July 1st, it was no longer working. I take it back to Mike's Merchandise not to get a refund but get a store credit or another coffee pot. I showed them on my Region's debit card transaction where I bought it. It stated Mike Merch. I had thrown away my receipt. Had I known the coffee maker was only going to last a couple of weeks, I would had kept it. They would not get me store credit or another coffee maker. They just said we can't do any thing. I told them I had been a customer for years. They did not care. Please do not shop with them. They have bad business practices and do not care about the customers!!! I lost $71!!!

I was gifted a gift card for HG, so I have been determined to use it up. I was able to do so on this visit. I found something for the kitchen and the dog! I know .... Fun! This location offered a nice selection overall. Lots of a lot to browse! You need a shopping cart to be on the safe side! I will say this, the shopping center this HG is located gets congested. So keep this in mind. Good customer service and competitive pricing are good reasons to visit here!

She called the manager over and he refused to even look at the receipt making something up about inventory. Even though when I purchased the rug at a different store the manager at the different store said there should be no problem with any returns as long as the store stocks rugs (which they do). Overall would say this store doesn't care about customer service and only cares about doing the least amount of work possible. Would try to stick to the Homegoods on 280.

Primarily tables, cabinets, nightstands, and bookshelves. They also have a small, yet mighty, selection of home gifts. If somebody told me they needed a credenza or buffet, I would recommend Nadeau first. I'm not entirely sure where they source these pieces from, but they're a perfect combination of sturdy, well-made, and surprisingly lightweight. I have a beautiful painted black side table from here that I've loved for years and has held up beautifully. No scratches or anything. I like to swing on through anytime I'm in Homewood. Prices range from about $200 to $1,000+, usually just depending on the scale of the piece. I nearly took home a large, tall wardrobe style cabinet. They have a sweet store cat and the staff is always very kind and helpful. Stock here rotates often, so there's always something new to see.

When we did go back recently the store had a bit of a remodel. It was nice, but just did not have the same feel as before. Prices on items tended to be a bit more hefty and the selection seemed more, how can I say,... "tan?" We went on a Saturday, which used to be a very busy time for them. But this time the store only had a couple of shoppers. Just couldn't put my finger on it, but it just didn't seem as interesting or inviting. The staff seemed a bit standoffish as well. I suspect if we are back down that way, we may stop by. Just don't think this will be a planned destination any longer.

I love that the staff wants to make thier pieces work with your existing home, and they're not going to try to sell you on an entire room of furniture. The merchandise itself is great, some prints of birds caught my eye, and I'm usually not a fan of mass-produced art at all. If you're looking for bed linens, this is a great place to check out! This store had everything from snacks and food, to flooring (hardwood), to home decor, to a HUGE lot of Alabama crockpots!!! (RTR). And this place was hopping for a Saturday night.
