Funny thing to hear her speaking bavarian in the middle of the very rural part of northgermany, but since I am very bavariafil, I immediately loved it.
The couple just took over the well running and quiet modern hotel from the earlier owner. The room was situated to the quiet side of the place. Since it isn't alowed to smoke in the rooms, we had to smoke in the back yard of the house with a charming view on the countryside. The last cigarette of the day we enjoyed in a marvelous sunset.
The hotel is very well connected to the public trafic (Bus from Husum, ca. 40 Minutes).
Süden is the central village of the peninsula Nordstrand with some shops, a nice pottery, gallery, three wonderfull churches and few trafic. We rented a bike for 7,00 EUR per day and cycled from north to south, always taking a pause here and there along the waterfront.
A basic breakfast with homemade jam is included in the price and the breakfast-room is situated in the modern entrance-hall full of light and high open ceiling.
Thanks to the Hausners for their kind and friendly hospitality.
