I'm here for a one day local convention. Marking was plentiful, it was free. Not a long walk from the parking area to the convention area. The registration was pretty good. It's more for the organizers. The hotel lobby is pretty clean not that impressive but very functional. Restrooms was clean. Hotel staff was strategic and knowledgeable and very helpful. What is nice about it is the convention area is right to where the pool is so if you get bored, you can stay and relax poolside.

Stayed here a couple times for work conferences and it's a good hotel for solely that purpose. You can tell in how it's setup that it's meant to be more of a business hotel. There are dozens of conference rooms, salons and big ballroom areas. They have several dining options both sit down and grab and go, as well as a little market to get other stuff, though it's quite expensive. But honestly, overall I have not been impressed with experiences at the Rosen Centre. Both times I've had issues at check-in because it was booked through my work and they tried to say my reservation wasn't paid for even though it had been booked and paid for literally almost a year in advance. Not to mention, my second time staying there I found hairs on multiple towels in the bathroom- so much for being freshly clean. It was really gross and made me not want to stay there anymore. The parking can also be confusing if you drive your own car- at the front of the hotel is only for valet but there's no signs or instructions where to go for self parking. When you finally find it around back you have to stop at the security guard shack and tell them why you're there, and they never seemed to believe that I was there for a work conference. I'm glad they have security but it was a bit much. And if you weren't in Orlando for a work reason, this isn't the best place to stay anyway. They have a decent pool area but there are far better options hotel wise with similar pricing in the area.

This is a great hotel, especially if you're attending or competing at the Orange County Convention Center. The sky bridge that connects directly to the convention center is extremely convenient and makes getting back and forth a breeze. The hotel offers plenty of food options, including a quick-serve market with pizza and fresh deli sandwiches at very reasonable prices, along with several sit-down restaurants. There's also a coffee bar on site. Amenities include a rental car facility, self-service guest laundry, a gift shop, and vending and ice machines on every floor. The lobby has lots of comfortable seating areas. The pool area is very nice with hot tubs, and the hotel also has a spa, which is a great bonus after a long day. Our room had a great view of the Orlando Eye, which was a nice bonus. The hotel is very clean and incredibly convenient overall. Just be aware that there is a service charge for incidentals at check-in and a fee for parking. That said, this is an excellent choice if you're attending a convention or event at the Orange County Convention Center--we would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the Rosen Centre Hotel in January during the AHRI Convention the largest HVAC event in the U.S. held at the Orange County Convention Center and overall it was a solid 4-star experience. This hotel opened in 1995 and is part of Rosen Hotels & Resorts, a family-owned business founded by HarrisRosen back in 1974. It's a huge property with 1,334 rooms, 80 suites, and over 160,000 square feet of meeting space. It connects directly to the convention center via a skywalk, so getting back and forth between sessions couldn't have been easier. From the moment I checked-in to check-out, it felt like the staff lived up to the so-called "Rosen Difference", warm, efficient, genuinely helpful service. My room was spacious, the shower generous, and the bed super comfortable. Everywhere I looked from the lobby to the bars and restaurants, felt spotless and well-kept, which, to me, speaks volumes . The lobby shop was a lifesaver. Called "The Shoppe," it's perfect for grabbing snacks, toiletries, or a quick drink when time is tight between sessions. And lunch or dinner options were plentiful. The hotel has nine restaurants, ranging from fine‑dining places like the Everglades to casual spots like CaféGauguin, sushi at Banshoo, tapas at 98 Forty, poolside fare at Harry's, and even a 24‑hour deli. I enjoyed having all of those right there no need to leave the building after a busy day. For downtime, the hotel didn't disappoint either. There's a full-service spa with massages, facials, a steam room and relaxation lounge. The outdoor pool is Olympic-sized (heated in January), complete with whirlpools and a poolside bar. There's also a 24‑hour fitness center stocked with cardio machines, weights, and strength equipment. What stood out most for me was how businesslike yet comfortable everything felt. The common areas had a professional sheen and felt geared toward productivity, but they were also inviting. Walking back to the convenience of my room after a long day was a treat, and the short walk to the convention center was ideal. Price-wise, it's on the higher side. But for someone attending a major convention, the convenience alone justifies the cost. Plus, everything being so clean, well appointed, and staffed with trained professionals made the stay feel worthwhile. The hotel seems to draw both business travelers and tourists, likely because it's so close to the parks and entertainment options on International Drive. I definitely saw families heading out after their stay here. All things considered, I'd give the Rosen Centre Hotel a strong four stars. If your trip to Orlando is business-focused, especially one centered on a convention, this place is hard to beat. It checks all the boxes spacious, clean, convenient, and full of amenities. Just be prepared to pay a bit more for that level of service and location.

This is one of the most accessible hotels I have ever been too. Arrived for a weekend conference and the rooms are huge, (unless you get stuck in the overflow with Murphy beds), the baths are well appointed and the front desk/bell staff amazingly professional and helpful. The re are several restaurants onsite to choose from but the conference rooms have limited restrooms near them and the ones closest to my conference had only one fully accessible stall that the staff kept placing a giant garbage can into and this prevented it from begging fully accessible for a wheelchair. I repeatedly had to ask the staff to remove it and every day it was placed back into the accessible stall. I also tip really well and left cash tips every day for the hotel staff that cleaned my room. I left notes requesting extra towels and tea bags (since I don't drink coffee) and it took 2 days and asking three times before I got tea bags left at my door because one day the staff removed all of them and only left coffee. I mentioned this to the front desk staff as well and never got my extra towels. I think the cleaning staff rushed the job every day because my room sheets were never changed and extras like TP was never provided until I asked. Very frustrating to get back to my room after a long day and have to bother someone to get what I asked for in the morning. Several members of the conference also got food poisoning from the catering which made me worry because I had dined there as well. Thankfully I avoided this outcome. Parking was valet or self park but there were not a lot of accessible spots close to the front door. Most of them were a long way in the parking garage. This resort is connected to the convention center right off of international drive so a very busy place with lots of conferences going on simultaneously. My views from the 19th floor were spectacular! Overall I would give this place 4 stars for accessibility but 3 stars overall.

I stayed here for three nights for a convention that was happening downstairs and it was a fabulous stay!! Reasons why: (1) Super convenient to stay at the hotel where the conference is being held... just a short walk around the corner from the lobby elevators each day. (2) there's a variety of food options, from low priced take out to high end restaurants (3) their market offers snacks and drinks 24/7 (4) friendly staff (5) clean rooms. They replaced the broken mini fridge quickly (6) plenty of security walking around the convention center (7) their pool was huge and clean. (8) car rental agencies on site. I felt that the room pricing wasn't horrible - standard fees and taxes were charged but all hotels charge that. Would highly recommend staying here if your convention is here!

Stayed here for a conference in August 2024. I liked that this hotel was attached to the convention center via a sky bridge. Even through a tropical storm, this covered bridge shielded us from significant rainfall. The room was great, clean, and had a view out towards sea world - enjoyed relaxing and watching the fireworks. There was a small coffee maker and a mini fridge. The housekeeping staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Be aware of this property and unauthorized charge that you are going to see. We stayed in this hotel for two nights and the only reason was the closeness to convention which it was happening in this building. The room was ok but outdated. Front desk first day was very helpful and the last day when i asked them what is the charge for $14.48 they told me it was probably glitch and they removed it...We came back and i saw a charge in my bank account and when i asked for explanation they said we listened to music on TV for six hours and i told them we werent in the room for that much long and while we had two rooms we werent use that room except for sleeping there! I didnt like that they charged me without my consent and when i asked them in person they told me it was a glitch and when i came back they told me third party told them it was 6 hours usage. This was very weird! Im word traveler and ive never seen something like this...Even if they want charge you for wifi/ Internet they ask you for your consent! They are charging you because they think they should charge you. Im very upset! And definitely this property is big no for me even though they have high parking rates to...Check before choose this property! Make sure after you check out there is no surprising charges after! All the bad reviews are accurate & I wished I took it serious...

Convention Center and Universal Epic can be seen from our 12th floor room

Great location next to both sides of convention center. Very clean. Deli was very convenient for deli food, coffee, breakfast items, and toiletries. Also convenient next to a Walgreens. This is really important if going to an all-week tournament at the convention center. The spa had good customer service . Very close to Universal Epic.

    Beautiful sunny day.

Ask the Community - Rosen Centre Hotel

Seeing that there is an extra charge associated with gym access, are there any nearby running trails or good sidewalks outside to exercise?

Anyone know the pool hours? I've scoured the website and no mention of it :-( We are in conferences till 5 or 6 and want some pool time after!!

I don't know the exact answer, but it during my stay in October, we were in the pool after 9, so I can only assume it is open until at least 10pm.

Does each room have a mini fridge and microwave?

All rooms have a mini fridge but a microwave is only available in the SUITES/VIP rooms. There is a microwave for guest to uses in the convenience store on the lobby level.

I would hope a nice hotel like this would have magnified mirrors for the bathroom. The food and drinks in the restaurants were good. No complaints. The location is great. The hotel was easy to find, and parking is conveniently located right across the street with simple in-and-out access (though, of course, there is a parking fee -- which is never fun). Inside, the hotel is very clean, beautifully decorated, and the staff was accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was on the fifth floor, which I actually prefer when staying in a city -- the higher up, the better to avoid street noise. One of my favorite features of Embassy Suites is the room layout. The separation between the living room and bedroom is ideal, especially if someone wants to rest while others are still awake. The rooms have consistently been clean and feel very homey. Everything was great -- until Sunday morning. This is a dog-friendly hotel, which we love since we bring our dog and take her on walks so she's not stuck inside all weekend. However, checkout morning was pure chaos. One of the two elevators was out of service, it was peak checkout time, and there was also a princess pageant event happening, so the hotel was much busier than usual. Trying to get downstairs with my dog was extremely frustrating. I looked for stairs but wasn't sure if they were alarmed. When I asked an employee to confirm, she looked at me like I had five heads, which didn't help my already thin patience (I definitely did not have enough coffee for that situation). I eventually just went downstairs. Coming back up was even worse -- the line for the single working elevator was ridiculous. When I asked the front desk about the stairs, I was told they were accessible from outside. I didn't realize I needed my key card to re-enter through the outdoor stairwell (which makes total sense -- I was just aggravated at that point). After going back inside and trying again, I ended up walking up five flights of stairs with my dog. Thankfully, we had requested a late checkout, so we avoided the absolute peak of the chaos. Our friends on the third floor ended up carrying their luggage down the stairs because waiting for the elevator wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, being on the fifth floor with a lot of luggage, that wasn't really an option for us. Aside from that stressful morning, we really enjoyed our stay. The complimentary evening happy hour with drink tickets and small bites is always a highlight. We also had breakfast on Saturday morning -- and honestly, the breakfast is a major deciding factor whenever we choose to stay at a Hilton. Overall, a great stay with one very frustrating checkout experience.

City Hall is nearby with lots of office buildings and a few residential high rises. I was there for a concert at the Kia Center and it was about a ten minute walk. There is also a publix and a convenience store within a 5 minute walk. It is very convenient to get to from the airport via bus if you dont mind the ride and about 20 minutes (depending on traffic) from the international outlet mall. The complementary breakfast was decent with my highlight being the strawberry waffle that i was not supposed to eat LOL. Highly recommend this location if you dont want to stay in the more touristy part of orlando.

Universal Orlando cabana bay resort was a great vacation destination,For me and my wife birthdays…read more The room was spacious and the beds were really comfortable. Nice and firm for a get night rest or a nap after being at the pool side for a few hours. Walk in closet big bathroom ,living room was cool as well. The rooms give you that old 1960 vibes with a modern touch. The resort also featured some old vintage 1960 cars similar to the TWA hotel at jfk airport. The resort had some nice places to go to. Me and my wife enjoyed the bowling alley. We had a lot of fun. Don't forget about the shops with all your favorite carton characters t shirts hats slippers you name it Star Wars, the minions the Simpsons fun for kids all ages. We also enjoyed the cabana cafeteria . I had a spicy chicken sandwich with fries my wife had chicken teriyaki lomein full of nice pieces of chicken ,Which she enjoyed .I also had some chicken tenders and fries from the cafeteria on our stay. We also ordered food from door dash while we were in the main lobby. We ordered shake shack which was cheaper ordering from door dash then buying food on the resort, smash burgers well done with cheese fries, for a little vacation cheat because I'm on a diet. By the way the order came really fast. Don The pool was great especially at night the view was amazing. With the lights shining on the pool and the really nice fire pit they had so you can even roast some marshmallows by it. Also the pool features a water slide for kids and adults. The blow up rafts were $9to17. You also could bring your own as well. You also had an ice machine with cold water free. Plus you had the soft drinks and soda all you can drink for $30 . That was the drink packed. Cabana bay resort also had a restaurant right next the pool outside. Where they had some really good chicken quesadillas with fries. My wife enjoyed that. . I went with the chicken wrap with lettuce and some veggies, It was great to eat pool side with the beach chairs equipped with the big umbrella for shade . Then you also had the lazy river at the resort. That featured a bigger water slide and pool . Bigger than the pool outside the main lobby. The staff was courteous and friendly the stay was fun. Just remember it's kinda pricey . But don't forget about all the theme parks you get to visit for $80 each way .

I have stayed at many resorts in Universal and I just have some mixed feelings about this…read moreparticular one. Check in, took 30+ mins long and we checked in online, but the online check desk was closed, which seemed odd. There were tons of people that were from out of town that looked tired, especially after going through airport securities/travel from their states and looked like they just wanted to get their room and go to sleep, but it seemed that there was no urgency from staff. They didn't look short staffed, but I saw other staff standing around with no lines at their kiosk with multiple areas for them to step in at check in- Which tells me that there needs to be some cross training encouraged to help their processing. Fun Fact: I rode two rides at Universal with my fast pass faster than checking in to our room. Room was clean, view was nice. We stayed on the top floor with the view of one of the pools, which was nice but I had not so much of a good first night due to the AC in the room not working properly and I'm a hot sleeper so I did not sleep well. I did address the issue in the morning and let the staff know about my issue and that I was gonna be gone for the day and they did fix my issue right away. The food was surprisingly mediocre, and they have four different restaurants you can eat from and we went to three of them, which seems to be the same style of food just spread out. The first night I had a Smashburger it looked very delicious, but then I found myself putting on basic ingredients on my burger, salt and pepper. If I did not, it would have not had any seasoning. The second night I went to the Brazilian steak eatery and as far as a quick steak to get, it was very delicious and they serve it with mashed potatoes and gravy, which was really delicious. I would recommend eating your meals at least for dinner there if you're going to eat in the in the resort. If you're looking cocktails, they have them and they're very delicious. Prices are high, but you get a quality drink. I think I just had a bad experience. I don't feel that everybody encounters what I encountered when they visit, but I would have given a 3 star rating if it wasn't for how convenient it is to get to the park, there's a shuttle that picks you up every 10 minutes and drops you off and when you're done at the park, it picks you up and takes you right back to the hotel. Beats paying $50 a day for parking at the parks, but you still have to pay for parking with your room which is significantly less. All-In-all it was good, but not great for my experience, I will probably attend a different resort next time, but as a local in Florida, we have that choice.
