Dear Yelp, I am not giving my identifying information because this is about a service that concerns a medical issue and I'm legally afforded privacy. I work in insurance and I see providers harm patients that speak up about bad treatment. I was uncomfortable with this doctor and want to avoid retaliation. It's not just this doctor that mistreats clients, but I was hoping this time I might get a decent, caring and ethical doctor; they don't exist in the field of psychiatry.
I had a medication reaction--a physical reason for what was happening--but doctor Cain was unconcerned, disinterested and checked out the whole time. There was no differential diagnose or attempt to problem solve. It's arbitrary anyway; whatever Dx gets paid easily by insurance is the label/misdiagnosis given. Getting a Dx directly from the doctor isn't even possible. I have to see my GP, who can't answer my questions and charges another few hundred dollars just to walk in the door. Though I'm entitled to my own data, I have to go through hoops to get my medical records.
There is no concern for clients; it's all about money for the doctor and the insurer. She is another pharma loving pusher, there to write an Rx and move you out the door quickly. The only good thing to say is that the office staff is nice and the waiting area smelled good. read more
