Today was my second time coming to this location. First was for my foot a couple years ago. Today I walked in to make an appointment since my doctor who gave me the orders was across the street. I was very stressed about the reason I needed imaging and was going back and forth with my doctor about getting the orders about 10 mins prior. The lady at the front desk was SO helpful and knew I was worried. She was able to get approval and squeeze me in for a mammogram and ultrasound. I waited about 20 mins and they called me back. I was willing to wait all day. The mammogram tech and ultrasound tech were also amazing. Both very kind and explained what they were doing. The ultrasound tech talked about her job and made me feel at ease. I unfortunately didn't catch names but all three women I spoke to there were absolute angels. They were real girls girls and left a lasting impression. Thank you. read more

I took my mom here for an X-ray few months back and have been wanting to leave a great review for them because they left such a great impression on me and my mom. I try to avoid taking my parents to UCI in Orange so when I was calling to make her appointments, asking for an open-Xray machines, the operator said this location has an open machine so I booked one for her. We came on a Friday late morning. They are located in the same plaza a the UCI Placentia location, where there is a hospital (I believe) and and ER dept. The imaging center is on the far corner around the ER other door. We made appointment and uploaded the order for her X-ray ahead of time so we didn't have too much of a complicated process to register/sign in when we got there. The wait was a bit though even with an appointment. We waited inside in the patient lounge because my mom had to go to the restroom and one of the nice lady said we could just wait there. When it was her turn, the technician came to get her and took her in. Based on my mom's feedback, she was very pleased with the whole appointment. She said the technician explained everything so well (even though he did not speak her native language) but he was able to explain everything and she understood everything well. For reference my mom is close to 80 and she is forgetting a lot of her English. In the end, it was a great and pleasant experience and I would recommend if you need to do imaging, to go here, instead of the Orange main location. read more

I have been here for several reasons over the years; x-rays and ultrasounds. Although at times there is a bit of a wait, it is a pleasant waiting area and comfortable seating. The staff is efficient at the front desk and the techs are really friendly! I've always felt comfortable in any situation and for any testing I've undergone. I think my favorite x-ray tech is Lynne, she is so bubbly and sweet. One thing I don't understand is why they call you the day before to check-in and go over all the insurance and history, etc. but then you have do do the same exact thing when you come in the next day. One or the other would be great. Parking is easy and plenty of it even though it is right next to Placentia Linda Hospital, I've always parked close to the door and never had any issues. Lynn was my photographer for the evening and she was excellent. 10/10 would be x-rayed here again. Joking aside, the front desk people were friendly and Lynn was exceptionally kind while talking me through what I needed to do and what to expect. Well I for one (practically literally) had zero problems with this place! Aside from needing to hunt around a bit for parking, I found the front office staff friendly and efficient. I was processed very quickly and waited maybe 8 minutes before being taken back for my mammogram. My technician was warm and friendly. She too was also quick and efficient. The whole thing was over before I knew it! They do ask that you be there 30 minutes before your actual appointment to fill out paperwork etc. that being said my actual appointment was at 10:10. The technicians are wonderful, I have zero issue with them, but this is about their fraudulent billing processes and their constant harassment. I have been here at least 5 years in a row and my insurance had some issues paying them. Everything was resolved and they have been paid in full, and I am still getting billed by them. Their billing company is horrendous, rude, vile and the worst people I've dealt with. I've called them multiple times, only to be placed on hold for sometimes an hour and then be yelled at even though they were given all the information they needed to process the bill and have been paid in full! They harass you via email and text constantly and have no manners. Sadly, I will NEVER return here again because of their dishonest billing practices. Very clean location. The technician that did my ct scan was great. But what good is it if they do not send the doctors the report. When checking in on Tuesday September 4 I ask to have four doctors notified, pulmonary, cardiologist rheumatologist, and primary who sent me there. I signed the releases. September 6 we called our primary doctor to see if she received the report. The answer was no. We called the center which actually was the hospital and arranged to get the report to the dr. Had two appointments next day. But the hospital said no where was it listed to notify any of the doctors. We left a message for the manager or director to call us. As of today September 15 th we have not heard from him. Just be aware if you go there make sure you follow up, they do not. What a pity. read more

I was recommended to this imaging center from my podiatrist due to a suspected broken toe. I hobbled across the parking lot in order to get to their front door. Due to the Corona virus epidemic, Placentia Linda Hospital and their adjoining buildings have put screening procedures in place. Now when you come into their facility it is required to get your temperature taken. The woman at the front door wouldn't let me inside telling me to go across the street to get screened making me wait additional time in order to get checked in. I complained to their supervisor Pablo however, I hope my review gets others attention. I don't appreciate their rude attitude given the lack of a reasonable accommodation for a disabled person. read more

Came to leave a 1 star review and not surprised at all to see others with similar experience. Per my doctor's order (in the same building) I needed to get an MRI. I walked in to make an appointment and was told by front desk lady that the scheduler should approach me in a minute. I waited for 15 minutes, but scheduler did not show up. Not sure why you even need a scheduler for this... I had to leave as I was late to work. I called and made an appointment via phone (MRI is usually booked a week ahead) and called a day before confirming my appointment. They just told me that it is not in the system and offered a new appointment a week later!!! I asked to be transferred to a supervisor named Cecilia (I believe), but it went directly to voice mail... it's amazing how badly this place is managed. This has got to be the worst imaging center around. The front desk is always so confused and the customer service is terrible. I dont understand why anyone would go here at all. I will let my physicians office know so they no longer refer to this facility. The management seems to not be very good here. The technologist was great and took nice clear images. The radiologist they use was not that good though. He thought my benign colloid nodules were cancerous and gave us the scare of a lifetime. Got the opinion of two other radiologists who confirmed they were benign. read more

In April my husband had a contrast MRI at Rose. He had 2 pre existing medical conditions which were disclosed in advance. Unfortunately, the IV was not inserted properly and Rose didn't check while he was there. As a result, within a day he developed a severe infection in his arm, then blood clots. We immediately contacted Rose to find out what to do and was told to call someone else. We made two separate trips to urgent and ultimately had to go the emergency where my husband was admitted to treat the clots he had developed. We were advised at the hospital that the leakage in the contrast dye was so extensive it had to be apparent when given. Following this experience we were advised by other medical professionals NEVER get this type of procedure anywhere other than a big, reputable hospital. I give it one star because this is the lowest rating available. Would do a minus if I could! read more

After todays visit I changed my review from a 5 star to a 1 The pre Registration process was a nightmare. I was handed a tablet to use. The first part of the process was normal routine questions about me .Typically asked when getting a mammogram. I statedI was a widow. My husband passed away 10years ago Next came questions about my husband. They were "required". Is my husband employed? When I answered no , The next "required " question was Was he ever employed? If I didn't answer the required questions. I was told I couldn't proceed with the registration process. Once I started the process it would have to be completed or my insurance wouldn't cover the mammogram I explained it would be covered. I had Medicare and supplemental. PPO Anthem BlueCross private Insurance. More questions about my husbands retirement asking complete datesAll of the questions were in the present. As if he is still alive. It made me very emotional and was brought to tears .when I requested to fill out my registration on paper They said I needed to complete it on the tablet. After seeing how emotional I became, They asked if I wanted some items removed. I finally convinced them to remove all of the questions applying to my husband. The technician that did the mammogram said she never heard of such treatment. The medical technicians were all great. read more

This imaging center is incompetently managed. I arrived at 2:50 pm for a 3:00 pm appointment. At 3:15 I asked when will be seen, I was told 10-15 minutes. No one followed up with me. Around 3:50 I asked when I will be seen. A staff member looked into it and said, they are busy with patients inside and it will be some time. I thought they wasted enough of my time and I decided to leave. Too bad I cannot give a score of ZERO stars. read more

If you enjoy billing nightmares, you're in for a treat! I paid for my expected portion of the MRI with an FSA debit card. Rose Plaza Imaging Center overcharged me (by almost double). When the EOB came in and I asked for a refund, they transferred the credit to another hospital account that I didn't even know about. Meanwhile, my FSA debit card has been cancelled because of "abuse" and I can't get them to refund the amount so my FSA account can be reconciled. This billing nightmare has been going on for a year with no end in sight. Steer clear of Rose Plaza Imaging Center and Placentia-Linda Hospital. There are plenty of lower-cost, higher quality care providers out there. read more

I was turned over to collections even though I paid in full at time of procedure but Rose Imaging decided to double-bill me. I kept all receipts and faxed their billing dept with the receipt showing "paid in full" and was told the problem would be fixed. But I kept getting bills and collection notices. I had to complain to the state insurance commissioner before Rose fixed the problem. Lots of headaches and work on my part to fix their billing error. And it has happened several times in the past few years and each time Rose Imaging staff assures me it won't happen again!! no more. read more

4 stars for facilities, new, clean. 3 stars for dr. diets, for the five minutes he spent with me he was nice and allowed me to ask questions. 1 star for technician. she pressed so hard with the ultrasound device on my chest that she left two bruises. pressing harder does NOT make the image clearer. 0 stars for admin staff. charged an extra $1 to use a credit card, and had to send me a receipt by post. changed my appt time from 1:15 to 1:30 without first notifying me, so i arrived 30 minutes early instead of 15. then they made me wait one hour. the technician said that she received paperwork for several people scheduled AFTER me before she got to my paperwork. doctor ordered a treadmill test, but technician waved it off. so i waited 60 minutes for a procedure that took 6 minutes. made my child wait at school to pick him up. read more

Aside from a delay in info for Insurance approval and having to do some of the leg work myself back n forth on the phone from my doctors office and their office to get authorization which I thought was odd, the overall experience wasnt that bad. I was able to get the CT scan the same day, but it had taken a turn from just a barrium to barrium with IV iodine contrast. Technician was awesome and very pleasant and made me feel very comfortable under the circumstances since I hate needles. The staff apologized for the delay and wait time, however very nice overall. The results came back within 3 days and not business day. Took the CT on Thursday and Results on Monday Found 2 cysts, one on each kidney and a leison on the liver that I knew about from a motorcycle accident 5 years ago -all benign, a hernia that is in upper abdomen which is the reason for the CT and most likely surgery to follow, but found unbeknownst to me Scoliosis- curvature of spine and Sclerosis or MS that I'm sure I'll be back for an MRI. 1 thing at a time. I will not be back to this facility. Had mammogram done in July and due to my age and insurance this means my procedure is free and no copayment, I have never had to pay this either. Well someone in this office felt like billing me for $75.00. I have called Placentia Linda billing about 5 times. The last girl said I'm correct and I shouldn't have been billed and to forget about it. Well today I get a letter from collections stating I owe $75.00! I have already gone to the imaging center to talk to someone 2 months ago and they all played dumb saying we can't help you. Utterly terrible. This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL establishment. Regarding a family members ordeal and what I had to live through, there is nothing good we can say. Appointments, communication and scheduling are absolute bullshit. Who makes you wait on the phone for 20-45 minutes a time? There are such things as emergencies, and we are still forced to wait and be left to our own devices? Never heard of a medical establishment that lags this much. Moreover, some of the staff are utter liars. I realize it's a business, but don't lie to us claiming that our doctor ordered a specific procedure; when in reality, he hadn't uttered a word of it. All we wanted was to have some simple questions answered, reschedule and make everything go smoothly. But what do we get? Hours and hours of waiting on the phone, incompetent employees who could give two shits about us and having to wait an extra month for a procedure to take place. Another horrible imaging center. This one takes the cake though. My nightmare started at Rose Plaza imaging when I went for a rather basic MRI with contrast. When I was taken in a man was doing the imaging and inserted the IV which would administer the contrast dye. When I cam out he was nowhere to be found and a lady removed the IV and sent me on my way. 2 days later I told my wife I was having discomfort in my right arm and a small amount of swelling. By the 5th day it was quite swollen and painful so I called Rose Plaza Imaging Center. The lady who answered the phone listened to what I was feeling and told me to call the doctor who sent me to Rose Plaza Imaging Center! What!?!?! He didn't put the IV in my arm or do the MRI which obviously led to this pain! I called him anyway and his first words were "what? I am not sending anymore patients to them". So I guess I am not the first and shouldn't have been the last. I finally had to go to urgent care and they diagnosed that dye had leaked into my arm at ROSE PLAZA IMAGING CENTER, causing inflection, swelling and pain. I was given an antibiotic and told it should do the trick. Just before Mothers Day it hadn't improved much so I went to urgent care one more time just to be sure ahead of the weekend. This time the doctor said I should go by ER that night so they could do an ultrasound and rule out a blood clot. Well sure enough, when I got to the hospital and they ran the ultrasound I was admitted to the hospital as the infection caused by the dye leakage had caused a clot to form in the same arm. I spent another night in the hospital and another 5 days fighting off the infection and clot. And the response from Rose Plaza Imaging center in total was to call the doctor who was dumb enough to send me to them. My advice, don't EVER allow Rose Plaza Imaging Center to touch you and if your doctor sends you there tell him what they did to me. read more

If the doctors who refer to this facility had their wives or daughters treated like this -- they would re-think the referral. Had an ultrasound preformed which led to a diagnostic mammogram, which led to a follow-up ultrasound. The radiologist who read the last ultrasound recommended another mammogram, this time of the wrong breast. When attempting to get clarification, was told the radiologist didn't have time today to re-read the film..I'd have to wait until Monday. Unprofessional and just pain lazy. Appears they are only interested in making money, no concern for the actual health care of their patients. read more

When I finally got in, I was told that the tech didn't even know I was there!! The receptionist seemed annoyed that I was there and never bothered to go back and check why I was waiting so long.
