I just moved to the Kirksville Missouri area and should have checked the reviews prior to this establishment. I am a new mom and just wanted to be pampered for my birthday and received the quickest pedicure I've ever had in my life. He didn't even put lotion on my feet. They were very friendly, but I wasn't sure why he was rushing through because I was the only customer in there. Either increase your prices and give an actual good service or let people know upfront what they're actually getting. I was very disappointed and basically paid $40 for gel polish on my toes. I will not be returning and advise anyone who is thinking about going there to just drive to Macon. Also, I'm a little nervous that I'm going to end up with some type of toe fungus because the establishment was not clean at all. read more

Worst manicure I've ever had, wrong shape, too short, wrong color, not even close to the shape or design that I literally showed him! I made an appointment and said I needed someone who can do a design and not only did I get someone who can't even make them all the same shape, I also had to wait 30 minutes after my appointment time!!! This happened the day after having my nails done here. The nail polish bubbled up and peeled off revealing wet nail polish. This happened to four of my nails. I went back and they were super nice and redid them for me for free. Unfortunately, they bubbled and peeled off AGAIN the day after having them redone. The workers are VERY nice, I just can't recommend their acrylic nail polish work. I paid $30 and left a tip for these. I do not have the time to go back and have them redone for a THIRD time just for them to peel off again the next day. read more

Wait time wasn't bad. They kept alternating who was doing my nails, 4 workers in total tended to me, bouncing from client to client. The next day, I noticed a bubble under my nail. After popping it, undried black polish dripped out. I immediately went back in and got my nail fixed for free. It's been a week since my nail was fixed. 4 nails, including the one I had fixed, have formed bubbles and popped polish on me. I love this salon! I'm not from here and I asked some of the local girls where they get their nails done and they all said " Rose's ". I was not disappointed it's a cute family business I loved the family vibe it made it feel so friendly and comfortable. I had a manicure and a pedicure done they turned out so cute!! I give Rose Nails a -0 the service in there sucks! They don't even speak to you or greet you when you come in. No one says nothing! Plus they are rude, both the husband and wife, but especially Rose! She was very rude and offensive to me in the way that she spoke to me! I didn't appreciate it, but yet i was calm and respectful. She doesn't like for u to critique her work. She did an absolutely horrible job with my nails. I had lumps and bumps of acrylic all over my nails! When i showed her, she got offended, and started talking down to me! Customer service is not what it used to be. It's getting worst almost everywhere u go. I will not be going there EVER again! And i discourage anyone else from going there! I wish I had checked yelp reviews before visiting. The manicure was very rushed and the results of my acrylic nails prove it. My nails are misshapen and uneven, don't match the shape of the nails in the photo I brought, and look grown out despite having them done yesterday. If I could give 0 stars I would, the customer service was TERRIBLE. I was charged extra for length and ALL of my nails are different length. Nail polish and bumpy and the nail tech had an attitude the whole time. She constantly threw hands and she made rude remarks the whole appointment. Will never come again. read more

I got my nails done the 26th of December and the next day the nails started falling off on the second of January I went back and asked how much it would cost to get them fixed she said they would do it for free but they gave me a dirty look so the man started using the dermal on my nail and repeatedly burned my cuticles and was not very careful at all then the woman came over and started painting my nails then she told me there was and issue with the UV light so she moved me to another lady and she had to use a dermal to get the nail polish off she was also very careless and burnt my finger on the other side of my cuticle leaving a cut on my finger and the none of the nails are anywhere close to acceptable the shapes of the nails are very unsymmetrical and have ridges all over and she left nail polish on my hand it was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon I hated every minute of it they were so disrespectful read more

I have been to this nail salon multiple times and have not been impressed with any of the experiences I've had. Every time I've been its always very rushed and my acrylic nails always break off within a week. I've had some bad experiences, but this most recent one is definitely the worst. I was seated not long after I walked in, and thought they would get to me right away, because there was only a couple other people there. That was not the case. I sat on my phone for a while waiting and finally a lady came over to me. When she was gluing my tips on she got glue all over my nails and skin. After she had all my tips glued on she walked off and didn't come back for a while. She then did my actual acrylic and began to file one of my nails, then walked off again. She then went to do someone else's nails and left me sitting there with my unfilled nails. Finally, another lady came over and filled my nails. I then got my polish, which I was actually pretty pleased with. My nails looked nice, but my experience was not very nice. What really made me write this review is the fact that my nails started to break off after having them for a little over a week. My nails have done this every time I've gone to their salon. I have tried other salons and they're never like this. The staff can also be quite rude, and seem like they do not care at all about you, or your opinion. I will definitely never be going back to this salon after all these experiences. read more

I showed a picture of the shape I wanted my nails, and was told it was doable. Unfortunately, the finished product looked nothing like what I asked for. Additionally, my thumbnail broke completely and did not get fixed, even after I pointed it out and the manicurist "worked" on it. This was one of the worst nail experiences of my life. I got a gel manicure. It almost immediately peeled off. The tech was rude. I've never been treated so poorly by someone in this field. I would NEVER recommend this establishment for nails....I would only recommend for it to go out of business and for the Missouri Department of Health to come in.
