Jade Nails - Heather this is the picture of the basketball girls you had me take. - Nail Salons Near Me - Kirksville, Missouri

I don't usually leave reviews, but I'm really disappointed with my experience at Jade Nails. I got a full set done and within just 5 days, my nails started falling off. The acrylic was all over my cuticles, which made them look messy and honestly kind of painful. The nails were also unevenly filled, and the shape wasn't consistent at all. They didn't feel secure, and some of them actually started to hurt a little from how poorly they were done. Definitely not worth the money I won't be going back. read more

The service was awful! I had the man do short almond nails with a basic color on them. Some of my nails are pointy and some of them are completely rounded. I tried to ask the man if he would file them down more, which he became defensive and told me he would do it later. Horrible experience, would not recommend! read more

Jade Nails - Horrible Manicure - Nail Salons Near Me - Kirksville, Missouri

I am dissapointed in the quality of my service, the nails aren't even connected to my real nail completely and I am worried about them falling off day of. The lady that did my nails didn't care for my cuticles enough and at least 4 of my nails were bleeding. The only reason I am not giving a 1 star is because of my friend's service. She had beautiful nails afterward and the man who did it was very gentle and careful to not injure her. I payed way too much for this quality. I feel like the nails are going to fall off just an hour after they were done. read more

I got the lowest price pedicure. It was $45. Normally, I would leave a decent review, but they charged my credit card $56 (this was before I even filled in tip part). When I pointed out the mistake, the guy all of a sudden couldn't speak English. Really? Watch your receipt carefully, they will rip you off. read more

Jade Nails - Update: got my nails done by another technician and he did a great job! - Nail Salons Near Me - Kirksville, Missouri

Very prompt and professional service. My nail technician was kind and very skilled. Great service overall.

Nails always look great Heather and the crew are always ready to help me! Very clean place.

i asked for matte black sharp nails and showed an example. tommy didn't do the sharp nails, they're flat and when my bf tried to correct him, he said they couldn't be fixed and blamed me for "not telling him" and had his coworker gang up on us. after bringing this up, tommy got more aggressive with how he was handling my nails and was extremely rough. after they were done he charged me $46 when the sign said they should only be $36. he also did not speak to me unless he had to and was overall very rude and unprofessional and im highly dissatisfied and disappointed as these were supposed to be my birthday nails. read more

Pedicure was great! Manicure however... I'm disappointed. I wanted round acrylic nails with a light pink color. He used 2 or 3 coats of gel and didn't file my nails down enough. Literally they feel & look like I've got a whole jellybean on my nail. read more

I don't like this nail salon. On the one hand, it cannot give me some recommendations for the nail art. On the other hand, the skill of the people there are not good, and I am not satisfied with nail art done on my nail. read more

This place needs a serious and thorough cleaning. My friend took me first thing in the morning just as they opened. One would expect this to be the "cleanest" part of the day. Nope. Chairs, displays, tables are old, shop worn, and do not appear to have been cleaned in a good long time. The chair next to me had dried coffee stains all over the side, the instruments did not look cleaned between customers, and the towels were old and appeared stained. The manicure was okay but I won't go back. read more

Disappointing. Stopped by to see if they had time for 2 pedicures and a manicure. She said yes. I told her I would be back I had to go pick up someone. Came back, she greater me with 2 pedicures right? I said yes. They were busy, but one of the women started the pedicure on the woman i was with. Then they waited on the two women who were there when we arrived. I understood this. Then a man and woman came in wanting two pedicures., and proceeded with their pedicures. Needless to say, I will not be going back. read more

Stopped in here while visiting town for just a basic manicure. Decor was a dated mish mash and shop was not clean. The guy just soaked my hands for about 10 seconds in warm water. Trimmed cuticles from something out of his drawer- not sure if it was even clean. They have a few "sterilizers" that look unused. No bottom coat and hold your hand in front of a fan to dry. 15 minutes and 15 dollars later I was out of there. Just glad to leave. Very disappointing. read more

I was so impressed with how well my nails were done and the friendliness of service! I got a dip powder with tips, and they look so nice and were done exactly the way I like them. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to have their nails done in Kirksville read more

Long wait time, did not use base coat during pedicure ($30 basic pedicure), did not open a new set of tools for gel manicure. Gel manicure took less than 10 minutes and they used dried up products and skimped on the coat job. Manicure came off after 3 days and everything was way overpriced for the end result. I don't even want to go back to redo my gel manicure after it came off. Everyone I've talked to has negative things to say about this salon. One star for friendliness. read more

Clean, professional, pleasant staff. Walked in for a mani/pedi-priced slightly higher than my normal salon. Overall pretty good.

There was ALOT to be desired-- very disappointed in the set of nails and spent $47.00 and had to have them redone by another salon!!

The people who work here were very rude to me. I walked in and asked if I could remove my nail polish (they only take walk-ins), and without answering the lady said to her client that she was with at the moment that "that's not how the real world works", and then told me to sit down. I did and fairly quickly they sat me down so I could soak my nails. After listening to a conversation about how my generation is lazy, one of the workers came over and asked me if I had picked out a color. I told him that I didn't want a manicure, just the nail polish removed. He left and came back and it seemed he was frustrated as he finished my nails. While I was checking out the same guy asked me if I wanted the receipt, I said "umm" while I was considering it and he said "hurry up!" Shocked, I answered that I'd take the receipt and then he told me to make decisions quicker. I can't believe I was treated so poorly and I won't be coming here again. If they had wanted me to make an appointment, they should have told me. read more

I won't go back. The staff was rude and I was very unimpressed with the quality of my manicure. The only plus is that is was relatively inexpensive. read more

I called on Saturday afternoon and asked to make an appointment. They told me that they don't take appointments, only walk-ins, but that I should come on over for a pedicure. I arrive (about 15 min later) and see an acquaintance who had already been waiting over an hour as well as several other women waiting. I sit down and start waiting. About 45 min later they had me go over to the pedicure chair where I sat and waited for another 2 hours. I was playing a game on my phone and noticed that a girl who came in after me was getting her pedicure before me so I said something. They assured me I'd be next, which I was. I got a mediocre pedicure and I'm pretty sure they guy could tell I was pissed. When he finished he said, "okay ma'am, now you can go home to your husband." In a very condescending tone. (I'm not married and there is no ring in my finger.) This was my last straw so when I paid, I told them my tip was spent on the 3 hours I waited for my pedicure and informed them that if they ever want my repeat business they need to start taking appointments. read more
