After getting my first real job and getting the benefits and funds to (finally) take care of myself. The one thing I wanted to get done ASAP was removing my wisdom teeth. All 4 of mine had grown in, luckily straight up, and didn't cause me to get them out sooner than expected. I was referred to this location and from what I remember, was an easy process. I made the appointment, went to it and told them what I wanted. They gave me the process/plan/billing of what it would be to get that procedure done. I remember meeting Dr. Harris and just saying "Please get these extra teeth out of my mouth. I have too many and I want them out!" haha. The front desk staffs were super friendly and helpful with any questions that I may have had. Day of surgery: My boyfriend (now hubby) was the driver who got me there and home after the surgery. When I got there, I signed my forms, and was brought to the back. They gave me some medicine that knocked me out and then woke me up when it was all over. I seriously thought it was maybe 30 mins or an hour. My husband still to this day told me that it was no more than 10-15 mins. He said he was just getting cozy on the waiting chair and just got mid-page of an article until they call him back to come "Pick me up". I "supposedly" kept telling the staff and Dr. Harris "Thank you" while they were doing the finishing process and got me into the car. No more than the weekend, my mouth healed great. It was so crazy feeling those crazy holes of the missing teeth in my mouth. At the follow up, Dr. Harris checked my mouth/gums...everything looked good. I couldn't help but ask if I could give him a hug. He really helped me out with the removal of my wisdom teeth and I highly recommend him to those who wish to get their wisdom teeth out! This second time I had minimal pain and downtime. They're practicing social distancing -- masks required, hand sanitizer, minimal patients in the office at the same time. Before you go under (if you get sedation), they have a playlist going on the TV for you to enjoy. My experience was great.

He offered several options which included differing costs and did not push me to choose which plan. He explained the pros and cons of each one. I experienced minimal pain and greatly appreciated their approach to prepping for treatment to keep the procedure as safe as possible. This included a special mouthwash and antibiotic to make sure I didn't get any type of infection. The office staff was spot-on too from check in to check out and coordination of follow-up visits. I can't recommend Dr. Cyr and his staff enough!

She was the only dentist I could find in Richmond and the surrounding regions who could see me the very next day. All other dentist offices I called would have had me wait days and I was in a lot of pain. They worked on my tooth to relieve the pain and then I came in the very next day to have my tooth worked on having a cap put on. I was so impressed with Dr. Ali, especially her wonderful "bed side manner" that I asked her if I could be a regular patient because I need a lot of work done. I have had several teeth worked on and even had another emergency in which she had to drain an abscess. I was so embarrassed about the state of my teeth but Dr. Ali kept saying "there's no judgment here." She and her staff are so pleasant and understanding it's actually a pleasure to go have my teeth worked on! Speaking of her staff, Raven is amazing! She is a very soothing presence when she assists Dr. Ali and is very understanding about my scheduling needs and she handles all of the claims to my terrible insurance company. Not feeling any pain caused by the wisdom teeth , not sure I needed the surgery. However I was assured the teeth were causing my jaw bone to deteriorate and needed to go. He said that you could drive a truck through this infection whole i her jaw. Within days after her first root canal procedure, she was in level 8-10 pain 24 hours a day. Dr. Bagchandani does not believe in giving antibiotics or steroids unnecessarily and thought my daughter did not need them. He would not see my daughter over the weekend in unbearable pain and reluctantly gave her the one antibiotic and then switched it. Her jaw locked up. No amount or combination of painkillers could help her. Her pain was so pain she was throwing up the medications and this dentist was reluctant to give her Zophran. Her jaw locked up. This scenario went on for several visits for almost a month. Dr Bagchandani said that he didn't know how to help her but would not refer us to another doctor and didn't recommend the ER. The final straw was when he did not call us back at 4am when my daughter could not stand the pain any longer and we could not figure out how to find the correct entrance for the MCV ER. We called another dentist that night and he called back in 5 minutes and told us to come in immediately. The infection exploded in her mouth on our way. The new dentist was been able to solve the problem immediately and identify the problem. I'm sure Dr. Bhagchandani has done successful root canals on other people, but he told us many times that HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO, yet would never refer us for any help. I would avoid this dentist at all costs. Negligent, dangerous.
