The memory table was done so nice and tables set so pretty. We took a food package and that was so had good food and service. I would recommend Meadowlawn New Port Richey to anyone. The visitors commented on this was the most beautiful service they had ever attended and the family did not need to do any work. Thank you for the wonderful tribute you gave me dear husband.

Today was a sad day. I said goodbye to a dear friend who lived a long, happy life. Meadowlawn…read moreprovided a lovely room for her viewing with friends and family. The seats were comfortable, and it was a large, bright room. My mother-in-law, father-in-law and several friends are interred at this funeral home's cemetery. All of their services were professional and compassionate. Staff was competent and kind. My only complaint was with their parking area, after my MIL's ashes were interred with her spouse who predeceased her. Husband pulled into a spot with an askew parking standard. He pulled up to much, and when he backed up the car to leave, it pulled off his car's splash shield. It was a tough time for him, and he blamed himself for this damage to his car, but I think that Meadowlawn should have addressed the issue before damage could occur. So be aware of where you park and how you park to avoid damage to your vehicle. Today, 2/7/22, all standards were complete and in place.

I visited the Heartwood Preserve after reading an article about the facility in the Tampa Bay…read moreTimes. The grounds are open to the public during normal business hours. I walked the cemetery and the preserve. I didn't inquire info or pricing of services.. A description of what I viewed while on the property is below along with several photos. The Heartwood Preserve is a medium size property and is essentially the same environment as Starkey Park. In fact, the most southwest corner of Starkey Park borders the Heartwood Preserve. The border fence can seen on the preserve trial which is probably a quarter mile long. I walked through the cemetery portion of the property viewing two graves. Small grave markers can be seen along the trail indicating gravesites. One grave not pictured was circled by pinecones with pineneedles a top. Each gravesite was directly beside the cemetery pathway (not paved) identical to many field like trials at Starkey where many fan shaped palm fronds are. The welcome center was staffed when I visited and a separate employee was tending to the grounds and politely waved and smiled. I learned a lot by walking the property on my own and will consider burial on these grounds.

I appreciate what the funeral home did for my family. The two reasons I'm giving them two star is…read morewhen I entered inside their place crying they did not ask me who I was there to view and just assumed I was seeing someone else even tho I walked in alone. It was EXTREMELY awkward bringing brought into someone else's room with dead body not my brother and people asking me what I'm doing in their room and my relationship to their family member. It was a big mistake they made they should know to ask everyone who they are there for. Also the man assigned to keep an eye on me in my viewing room was annoying. His phone kept ringing and texting the whole time and he was just smiling huge at me the entire time watching me cry it was very awkward. Not the best experience with them.

There was absolutely no pushing or pressure to do anything or spend more money or anything like that. Everything we wanted we were told, "Absolutely!" No problem!" They hosted a beautiful service for my dad. Everyone said it was one of the nicest services they've ever attended. They were completely supportive of all of our requests and ideas. And it was very reasonably priced. I wish I could give them 10 stars. I have to give a special shout out to Greitcha Quinones for her superior assistance with all of this. She really went Above and beyond to make sure it was a very special remembrance of my dad. Thank you so much.
