It had a lot of local stuff like clothes gifts etc that you can buy as gifts. I bought pairs of handmade earrings from my wife and for my mom. They are by far their favorite earrings so far. The girl at checkout was very friendly and sweet. I would definitely recommend everyone to come check out this little store if you are in town!

She asked if I needed anything and I asked if they knew if anyone was in the fitting room because there's only one and it's just a curtain covering the opening and it was closed...the girl blew me off and said kinda rudely "you'll just have to ask if anyone is in there because I'm not sure"...It was in front of other customers and I walked away feeling pretty embarrassed. That's how bad she blew me off and it was in a way like she didn't "have time" to help me. Either way I feel like it's not the customers' responsibility to know if the fitting room is open...if an employee doesn't know if anyone is in there, that's fine! But I'd rather them ask, not me...another customer. Just seems strange to me. Maybe I'm wrong but it just threw me off. Besides that I really like this store. The other girl who checked us out was super sweet!!

I had went to several different stores yesterday and couldn't get anyone to help me out. So I seen…read morethe sign and thought I would go in and check them out. Thank God I did!!! The manager was unbelievable! She was so friendly and polite as soon as I walked in. Even with the store full. Asked me questions and went right to work helping me with finding the perfect dress for my wife. When my wife and I went back to try it on, it fit my ladlady perfectly and again was extremely nice to my wife too!!! We found and bought the perfect dress because of this awesome manager. Inside is happy, fun and filled with creativity. The staff is friendly and willing to accommodate. They have a nice area to try on clothes and to be measured for alterations. I tried on many of their beautiful sweaters and found one that I really liked. Madhatters offers a nice shopping experience.

Oops I did it again!…read more I love antique clocks (and antique/ vintage items in general) even though I dont have anywhere to put them all out in my house, but yesterday, I picked up this beautiful antique mahogany clock. I believe that it may be a Junghans German shelf clock. (Possibly a "Biedermeier style"?) clock with a dark reddish mahogany case and a beveled glass door. It has a wonderful deep toned strike on the hour and half hour. I found this gem at Second & Main and it's sister store Apparitions Vintage Village which is owned by an old high school friend Robin Sowers. This store has a little bit of everything from classis records, vintage items, and locally crafted items as well! Be sure and check them out!

I especially enjoyed talking to the shop owner and am a fan of this quaint store with many interesting items to see.
