It is always fairly busy in the morning, probably due to great service and prices. My coffee hit the caffein quench and it came in a very sturdy to-go cup! Many other coffee shops in the area have crappy take-away cups. I have yet to eat the food here, but I have perused the menu and it is quite extensive considering the size of the cafe and few staff. I am sure I will make it in here soon for lunch or brunch!

The cook needs to learn how to cook and the waiters need to be shown how to serve customers. Quirkiness doesn't make up for indifferent food and sloppy service.

It is always quite busy which is a good sign...in contrast the coffee kiosk at my 'home train station' is a ghost town because it tastes horrible! Prego also has a decent selection of breakfast rolls and pastries. It is obviously not direct from the baker considering it is a kiosk, but hits the spot if you need a bite on the run!

I tried many coffee drinks during these days. Flat Whites, Café Latte, Salted Caramel Cappuccino, each drink perfectly crafted. Sometimes I took my coffee to go and sometime dined in, Costa Coffee also has pastries and muffins, which I did try too, the blueberry muffin was delish, even had some jam in center. Costa Coffee was my morning stop I'm sure if was close by I would join there loyalty program.

More of an old style tea room rather than coffee shop (read Costa; Starbucks), it offers the usual fare of breakfast and lunch snacks; sandwiches, soups, baked potatoes etc, along with some yummy looking cakes, biscuits, pies and other treats. I have to say I'm a little surprised at myself in liking this place despite it being completely not my style. I think it has more to do with the interior of the cafe rather than anting else. High wooden beamed ceilings are combined with a vast old marble fire place and wooden mantle in addition to a wonderful massive old window basking the entire cafe in as much winter sun as is possible. As it happens, Tea Cosy is actually the sort of solid, welcoming cafe it can often by frustratingly hard to find when all you desire is a quick bite to eat. Offering the usual tea/coffee/hot chocolate/cake fare, it also offers a reasonably substantial menu of light bites. I had an egg mayonnaise baguette here which was tasty and cheap. It's a slightly bizarre set up. The barren staircase leading to the cafe would have you believe you are heading into someone's house as opposed to a homely cafe, but somehow it adds to the appeal.

I went here recently when I had problems with my home computer to finish off some work I had to do…read more I have never been to an internet cafe in my life. It was super busy and full of mostly international students using email and the usual stuff. They didn't have the version of microsoft word I needed in order to do the tasks I had to do, so it was a waste of a journey for me and still had to pay £1 for 15 minutes even though I was there for approximately 3. The rates are reasonable but it is quite cramped inside with uncomfortable high chairs which are quite close to the person beside you which is awkward. Not as comfortable as a nice University library, which is what I'm used to.

So explained the fellow at Yeeha, anyway. On a Sunday afternoon I suddenly remembered I had to print out plane tickets for an insanely early Monday flight. So I was very grateful that Yeeha is open until 6pm on Sundays, an hour and a half later than the closest Staples. It doesn't look like much from the street, just a small sign that's easy to miss. Wear comfortable shoes for the two-storey climb upstairs. You may also wish to bring sanitary hand wipes; the keyboard I used was pretty grubby.
