I paid for the shipping, received a receipt with a tracking number, and assumed there would be no issues. Marshall called me at 11:00 a.m. to inform me that the package had yet to be delivered. UPS reported they could not deliver it because the final destination was not open. I contacted the company I was shipping to and verified that they in deed received packages from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. I relayed this information to Marshall. Throughout the day, Marshall personally called me at least five times, providing me with detailed updates on the progress of my package. Ultimately, the problem was resolved because of Marshall's efforts. This level of care and attention sets Roscoe Pack & Mail apart and has set a new standard for customer service for all companies. After this experience, I can confidently say that I will not use another shipping company. The trust and security I feel with Roscoe Pack & Mail is unparalleled.

Their window states they are open until 5:00 pm on Saturday. No sign, no explanation. Called, but they were unavailable by phone, just a long beep and a hang up after twelve rings. Completely unprofessional. I've always been supportive of the Post Office, but USPS obviously doesn't give a damn about its customers. It's a week before Christmas and I was counting on Kilburn. After I left there, I drove to Harrison. Closed. Then to Charles St. Closed. I know the downtown station closes at noon so I didn't even try there. Got pack home after 5:00 after risking my life driving my tiny car in truly horrible weather. I don't know what more to say, but UPS here I come!

In fact, once I had live birds shipped to me and they called me before 8:00 a.m. and asked if I wanted to pick them up right then. I went over, they guided me to the back and delivered my birds to my car. All the way from New Mexico and it took less than 24 hours! I think if we all wore a smile it would show how much we appreciate these workers who work in a pretty thankless vocation. The customer is not always right. They always make sure that we're not paying more than we have to--even if it means telling us that some job we've offered them would be cheaper at Kinko's. They've gone to bat for us when we've had issues with postal permits and delivery issues. They routinely think of slightly different ways of doing thing than the ones we initially envisioned that make our lives easier, our publications better, and our bills less expensive. Our contact there, Bruce, is so integral a part of how we get our work done that he may as well be another employee of the college, half the time. At my company, we aren't big enough to have an in-house print shop--and we're small enough to highly value knowing who we're working with so that person can be a colleague, rather than a salesman, to us. If you're concerned about environmental impact, Mid-American uses soy-based inks and can use Forest Stewartship Council-approved paper--and can get your publications FSC-certified. Print FSC and Soy Ink logos on your publications, and you can make a statement to to your Green customers. Can't recommend them highly enough.

They were quick with both the proofs and the prints. They were very nice, flexible, and accommodating. I'm not a professional designer - I only do it on the side - so I sincerely appreciated that they were willing to run some quick proofs for us as I found a way to get the resolution up to where I wanted it.
