Had a traditional Yule Log, it was very good, the white cake in it was so light with a delicious creamy ricotta filling.

I have gone to the bakery for over 20 years. They did my wedding cake and every holiday. I can remember for me and always on my birthday. They have great cannolis too but the Rigothia cake is my favorite and I always look forward to it. They have 1 million kinds of cookies too, and they are excellent. read more

I stopped by to get a sandwich for lunch. I had been here before but it was several years ago. I ordered the Sicilian Combo and a slice of their peanut butter and chocolate desert. Both were very good! I noticed several other pastries in the display cases that looked good too. The portion sizes were good too. The store is pretty basic but nice and the service was good. My Mother and I stopped at Rosciglione Bakery on a Saturday to pick up some Italian cookies. I've always wanted to go here but never timed it right. We got about a pound of assorted cookies. I heard they make them all and when I asked the woman behind the counter she concurred that they make them all. There are two sections with cookies. I'd say the smaller left section they do not make all of the cookies. There were rainbow cookies that look just like the cakebites everyone else orders and sells. That said we got an assortment of the ones they do make and they were pretty good. There were fig, amaretto, almond, etc. Some of the other cakes and coffee cakes looked nice too. They had a few Italian nonperishable foods for sale and that's about it. I'd go back if in the neighborhood. read more

The counter help was friendly. The sesame seed cookies were good. However, my cherry turnover had little if any cherry filling. I was very disappointed. I might go back so I can try more of the cookies or other items, if I am in the area. read more

I just discovered this bakery as I was driving by. According to the very nice lady inside, it's been around over 100 years and her husband is the fourth generation. I purchased a Apple tart and it was absolutely fantastic. The decor is also really nice and it makes you feel like, you're in an "old-time bakery" from my perspective. If they only made a cream horn like I used to be able to buy from a bakery back home, they quite possibly could be the perfect business. :-) read more

Coming from having lived on Long Island for over 20 years, I got positively spoiled with amazing Italian cookies. So needless to say, my expectations were sky high walking in here. I first visited in early December and got some star shaped cookies that were positively amazing. I visited again recently, having dreamt of getting my mitts on some more of those tasty gems for weeks. I quickly found out those particular cookies are seasonal, so I was out of luck, (bummer) but there were a ridiculous amount of other cookies to choose from, so my spirits were quickly lifted. I'd surely visit waaaay more often if I saw rainbow cookies and pignoli cookies in the cases, but I know there are limitations in our area. Still, I recommend trying a few different cookies every time you go - and finding your own favorites! :) read more

I've ordered from this bakery before & follow this Bakery on Facebook and have to say, they are complete trash. Stale pastries & terrible customer service. And I just saw they are dragging one of their customers through the mud for not being happy with a decorating job. How childish. And of note...never have them decorate a cake. Let me tell you these folks were absolutely wonderful to work with... they took my last minute order (less than 24 hours) which I said I would pick up at 3 pm the next day 30 minutes before closing... had a work emergency and was running late! Stressing I called and they were so polite and told me could run my card and worked something out with me instead of saying fly a kite like they could have. They were so kind to work with and let me tell you if the picture doesn't speak for it's self the brownies, cookie and cannolis were to die for. These guys made a cake for a family birthday party. When another family member went to pick up the cake, she asked for a few more flowers to be put on the cake. They added them on and said family member took a quick glance and went home. When she got home, she realized they just slopped some icing on and it looked more like red glops than flowers. My family member went back up there to say something, didn't bring the cake bc she wanted to serve it that evening. Honestly, it probably could have been a phone call. I digress. But somehow it escalated and they were pretty rude. She ended up going home and just bring the cake back got her money back and had a friend pick up a cake from a different bakery. End of story, right? Nope. Oh no, they then proceeded to create a Facebook post and put my family member on blast. Completely unprovoked. Totally twisted the story around and played the victim card. There was no one else in the shop, it could have all been water under the bridge. But they took the low road and showed their true colors. If you want a good cake there are plenty of other bakeries around that have great decorators. I wouldn't recommend this bakery to anyone. It's always empty anyways. read more

A generational owned family bakery that is timeless and outstanding! Obviously the Ricotta Cannoli are my favorite but it doesn't stop there! If you want an authentic Sicilian Cassatha cake you have found it in America! The Italian Cream cake was my introduction to the Rosciglione art from the oven a true masterpiece and I have addicted ever since. The store is fun to peruse, as there is a lot to choose from. However, it is extremely expensive for each thing you get. Its perfect for the area because there isn't anything like it in St. Peter's. Everything is delicious, I will admit. Just very pricey. The customers were wearing masks, but the workers didn't. Not even gloves. Also, if you have to call there to ask a question, be prepared to be cut off. Phone calls are apparently not welcomed. read more

Rosciglione offers the fullest (in terms of ricotta filling), prettiest, and most authentically Italian cannoli in entire state of Missouri. Its Cassata are also made with top quality ingredients, and make for terrific gifts to take along to parties and family events. It offers a marvelous (if not downright mind boggling) array of other Italian sweets, including those delicious little Biscotti Regina that I could devour non-stop given the chance. My personal favorite, complete with all the memories of childhood associated with it? The Pan di San Giuseppe (St. Joseph Bread) -- no too sweet, not too savory, and just the right amount of anise seed to give it its trademark flavor. This is a nice little Italian bakery in a bit of an unusual, off-the-beaten path area. (see map) Fresh made cookies, cakes, cannolis, etc. We tried the cannolis. They were a little sweeter than most cannolis I've had but I liked it with the extra sweetness. Crisp outer shell and smooth creamy filling inside. Sometimes bakeries don't put enough filling in the cannolis, but Rosciglione could not have put any more filling in their cannolis. I'll definitely be back to try some other baked goods. read more
