If you are looking a hangover breakfast while you're here on holiday then get down to here as breakfast is served until 3pm and you can get a proper fry up to aid your recovery. I have traveled all over the world and I know restaurants around the globe, from Japan to South America... Nothing as unheard of as the other night has ever happened to me... Last Saturday, July 10th , we booked a table for two in the morning for dinner at 9:30 p.m. on the terrace. They confirmed it without problems ... When we arrive at the agreed time at the place we are attended by a man called "Antonio" who tells us that our table is a high table with two stools located on the sidewalk of the promenade (I don't know if this is legal). The fact is that we told him that my mother, an 83-year-old woman, with two crutches and a handicapped person, could not get on that stool so we needed a table on the terrace as we had reserved and had confirmed. This man Antonio insisted that there was no other table and that he was very sorry, that we can left without any problem ... (the case is I had my mother in front of me and I saw the problem in front of him without reacting ...) The other waiters and customers looked at this Antonio incredulous and ashamed of their attitude... we really couldn't believe it. When we insisted, he offered us a table for two on the terrace, as agreed, but on the condition that we did not return again ... of course we did not accept the table and we went the way we had come. I told so Antonio that we would comment on social networks since I did not think his attitude was good. What's more, it seemed to me an absolute shame, Incredible but totally true what I tell. Onece I had the best fish and chips of my…read morelife here, about 5 months ago, soon after they first opened, but then they seem to get complacent and the prices went up and the quality down, apparently they can't get the fat hot enough to cook the chips properly, but the fish is excellent; most of the locals just have a take away fish. They advertise special offers on Sundays, pie of the day, but the offer is valid when they are closed; I think they had a good summer 2012 and now they feel they are home and dry. They also do ribs and pies and other things but fish and chips is the staple meal. Cheap and cheerful but very good is my view. And I don't know where that 2013 review came from that says they are sometimes not open because these days they have fixed opening times and are open most days. Excellent value. Thoroughly recommend.
