The family already loves Ritter Sport - at least what's available in the US. This had flavors we…read moredon't get back home. Most were with German wrappers, but a lot were in English (which made me less likely to get them as gifts). German gift bags, a chocolate fountain with free tartlets for sampling, they even offer classes (apparently). Fun place to warm up and get some sweets and gifts.

In our chocolate bar making class, we made two identical Ritter bars of a unique-to-you flavor. There are about 24 mix-ins and they allow you to choose 3 so the flavors are preserved. Then you chose your chocolate. While the bars are setting, you have an educational session on Ritter and on chocolate. Our tour was mainly Germans so they only spoke English during this portion. However, during the TV visual portion there were English subtitles. As mentioned, there is a lot of Ritter to chose from in their store - small bars, big bars, all flavors including limited edition flavors, gifts boxes, a meter of chocolate. And there is a small cafe with drink and sweets. We didn't utilize the cafe nor did we purchase extra chocolates. We really enjoyed our time! And if a staff member asks you your favorite football team (they mean American) and say the Seahawks!

What a magnificant find!…read more This place is a "must visit" on any chocolate tour and while I suggest it be your last stop, that is only because I think you should keep this for the crowning glory and keep the chocolate out of the heat and sun if possible. This shop does not make its own chocolate. Rather, this shop gathers together all the different types of chocolate from all over the world. With everything from Anedei to Domori to other exotic chocolates, this is the place to go if you want to find quality chocolate. They have everything from inexpensive to very expensive but it is all top quality. This shop is quite a walk from the nearest underground subway stop of Oranienburger Str. but by quite a walk I mean 5 minutes past some of the best looking shops. There was even a kosher bakery on my journey. Upon arriving there were already two women who I had seen wander in to the shop ahead of me. I soaked up the chocolate heaven while they were served and the brilliant women running the shop that day helped me by bean, acidity and region, finding me the perfect bars of chocolate. For someone like me who is passionate about chocolate to say you MUST go here, you know that this, above all else, is a shop you must go to for chocolate in Berlin.

Though quite small (and pricey), they have a wide assortment from all over the world. Both times the woman working there (owner, I assume) graciously shared her knowledge and experience to help choose. This is the place for an extra special chocolate or for gifts.
